Since 2004, our annual ball has raised more than RMB 11 million for 30 charities. Auction proceeds from the 2021 Americas Ball will be donated to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO·Action of China​.  AmCham Shanghai members and friends can donate to the fund by joining the auction onsite. They will also be able to make individual donations to the Fund outside of the auction.

自2004年以来，我们的年度舞会已经为30个慈善机构筹集了1100多万元人民币。2021年美洲舞会的拍卖所得将捐赠给中国人口福利基金会主办的"世卫组织COVID-19团结应对基金·中国行动​"，助力全球抗疫工作。上海美国商会的会员和朋友可以现场参加拍卖向基金捐款。他们还可以在拍卖会之外向基金进行个人捐赠。

Donations for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund support the critical response efforts outlined in the WHO's Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan​. Funding goes to countries most in need of help—primarily in Africa, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Americas—and is divided among ten pillars:

1. Coordination, planning, financing, and monitoring
2. Risk communication, community engagement and infodemic management
3. Surveillance, epidemiological investigation, contact tracing, and adjustment of public health and social measures
4. Points of entry, international travel and transport, and mass gatherings
5. Laboratories and diagnostics
6. Infection prevention and control, and protection of the health workforce
7. Case management, clinical operations, and therapeutics
8. Operational support and logistics, and supply chains
9. Strengthening essential health services and systems
10. Vaccination

对COVID-19团结响应基金的捐款支持世卫组织全球战略防范和应对计划​中概述的关键响应工作。资金主要流向非洲、东地中海和美洲最需要帮助的国家，分为十大支柱：

1. 协调、规划、筹资和监测
2. 风险沟通、社区参与和信息管理
3. 监督、流行病学调查、接触追踪、公共卫生和社会措施调整
4. 入境点、国际旅行和运输点、群众集会
5. 实验室和诊断
6. 感染预防和控制以及卫生工作人员的保护
