Damien Schrobiltgen is the Vice President of Human Resources for Goodyear Asia Pacific, since March 2019 based in Shanghai. In this role, Damien collaborates closely with the Asia Pacific President and the Leadership Team, supporting business growth and transformation across the Region. Damien also partners with leaders at various levels within the organization to coach, support, and provide guidance on organizational structure and implement global/regional HR programs. This will include strategies for Change Management, Staffing, Talent Management, Performance Management and leading the implementation of Human Resource Best Practices.
Damien began his career with Goodyear as a Human Resources Trainee in the Innovation Center in Luxembourg back in 2007. Over the last 17 years, Damien has held progressive positions in HR including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner for various functions like Global Operations, Innovation Center, Procurement, Finance, Sales & Marketing. Before his current role, he was the Human Resources Director responsible for Sales & Marketing in Goodyear across Europe based in the Europe, Middle East and Africa Headquarter in Brussels (Belgium). Before that, Damien had a chance to have an assignment of 4-years in Goodyear Global Headquarter in Akron (USA) as the HR Director for Global Operations (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, PMO).
A native of Arlon (Belgium), Damien is married to Aurore and has two children, Arthur (8) and Avril (5). He earned a Master in Business Engineering from the HEC-ULG Management School of Liege (Belgium) with a major in Human Resources Management. He spent the last semester of his degree studying in Tennessee (USA).

Born in Malaysia and educated in Hong Kong, Amber holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa Malaysia. Amber joined AIRINC in 2017 and began as a cost-of-living surveyor. With the familiarity of data collection process, she then moved to the Analysis and Delivery team to facilitate client data projects and production. In her current role as a Client Engagement Manager, she has been serving clients across APAC, and is the client engagement lead for clients in Malaysia, Japan and Korea. Prior to joining AIRINC, she worked at PwC’s China Corporate Tax, providing tax compliance and consulting service to corporates in China and Hong Kong.

Jason has over 15 years of experience in global mobility. Prior to assuming the current role, Jason had served as the Director of Client Engagement at the AIRINC Hong Kong office, servicing numerous clients with large expatriate populations as well as leading mobility policy-related projects. His experience also includes 2 years in general management for a mid-size manufacturing firm in Taiwan. In his current role, Jason leads the APAC business for AIRINC and continues to help companies in this region design global mobility policies and compensation packages supporting their respective organization objectives. Jason received his B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Boston University in 2007.

Avrom Goldberg has end responsibility for both client engagement and service delivery throughout the Asia Pacific region. In addition, he serves as advisor for both the EMEA and APAC regions to the Weichert Advisory Services team. He is based in Hong Kong where he has lived since 2001. Prior to this he lived in the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands and South Africa, where he was born.

Avrom has more than thirty years’ experience in the global mobility industry. During this time he has held global or regional roles in the areas of supply chain management, business development, operations, consulting and general management. He is past Chairman of several Worldwide Employee Relocation Council (Worldwide ERC) committees, including the Global Advisory Council, the Asia Pacific and China Committees. He has been twice recognized by The Forum for Expatriate Management, having won their award for “Outstanding Contribution to APAC Global Mobility” in 2016 and “Global Mobility Professional of the Year” in 2012. He is also the recipient of multiple awards from Worldwide ERC, including a Meritorious Service Award, two Distinguished Service Awards and ERC's highest honor, the President's Award.

Avrom has written extensively on Asia Pacific mobility trends and best practices for such publications as China Staff magazine, HRM China, Human Capital Hong Kong, Bo Le Journal for Strategic Management, Mobility magazine and HR World. He has also been the architect of two of the deepest dive surveys ever conducted on global mobility in China.

Irene Yu is a Tax Partner based in Deloitte Shanghai. She is leading Eastern China Global Employer Services (“GES”) practices, with more than 20 years of professional experience in tax and mobility areas.

Irene has led the delivery of services to a wide range of multinational and domestic companies covering industries including famous financial institutions, large life science/biotech companies, high technology companies, law firms, etc. She has extensive experience in managing large mobility engagements for both MNCs and China headquartered company and has provided wide scopes of services covering inbound/outbound international assignment structuring, individual income tax compliance and consulting, compensation and benefits structuring, global equity consulting, and foreign exchange consulting. She is also experienced in offering technical and practical support to the clients dealing with China tax authority inquiries on complicated tax issues.

Irene is the China equity practices leader. She has been leading China equity/rewards consulting services for many multinational companies and China domestic companies throughout a plan design to roll out. She is experienced in offering practical support for MNC clients on implementing their global equity plans in China, or helping high growth China domestic clients with their China or outbound equity strategies.

Being as a recognized China individual income tax, social security and equity subject expert, Irene is an active and sought-after speaker on leading industry forums, and a frequent commentator on various national medias.

Irene graduated from Fudan University with a Master Degree of Economics. Irene is a qualified Certified Public Accountant of PRC.

In this combined role, Curtis is responsible for driving and implementing the Inclusion & Diversity + Employee Experience strategy and providing expertise, consultation and support to business, functional, and ERG leaders and EX change champions in the region. He drives the Social component of Dow’s ESG strategy and growth into the region and amplifies globally the voice from Asia Pacific.

Collaborating with the businesses and functions on inclusion and employee experience interventions that lead to measurable results and long-term sustainable culture change, he also manages relationship support for I&D + EX partnerships and represent Dow externally consistent with the region’s outreach and thought leadership initiatives.

He holds a B.A. in Public Relations and a DEI for HR certification from Cornell University. Externally, he is the DEI advisor for IPWS (International Profressional Women’s Society-SH), Out & Equal APAC Council. He was awarded HeForShe Male Ally award from IPWS and named Top DEI People to Watch in 2023 by sHero China in 2023. He previously lead DEI for The Walt Disney Company China prior to joining Dow and has been in China for over 10 years.

Kevin Zhu is the Director of Deloitte Shanghai. He has over 18 years of professional firm experience as well as industry experience in human resource and tax areas. Kevin was the Asia Pacific Mobility Compensation & Tax Manager of a Fortune 500 automobile company before he joined Deloitte.

Kevin has extensive global workforce consulting experience. He has led large engagements for many multinational companies as well as China domestic companies and has provided wide scope of services covering compensation & benefits, individual income tax & social security as well as global workforce policy and process. He has also provide global workforce training for many large multinational companies.

Kevin has represented Deloitte to make presentation in many global and local forum and workshop. He is also the nominated speaker of Deloitte Dbrief webcast of Asia Pacific.

Kevin is the member of both China Certified HR Specialist and China Certified Tax Agent.

Michelle currently leads the Personal Tax Advisory Practice and Equity Incentive Services for KPMG China and has over 18 years of experience in providing global mobility solutions and equity incentive design and implementation solutions to clients in China and overseas as well as serving high net worth individual clients.

Michelle has actively participated in various projects assisting clients with design, implement and roll out of employee compensation structure including equity-based compensation plans. Michelle is also experienced in serving multinational companies and domestic companies on individual’s tax planning advice. Michelle has assisted multinational clients across a broad spectrum of industries on personal income tax compliance and advisory services. In particular, she has experience in Australian, China and United States expatriation taxation, and has served on small, medium and large accounts during her career with KPMG to date.

Over the years, Michelle has undertaken speaking engagements at events held by the American Chamber of Commerce, Australian Chamber of Commerce, Canada Business Council and EU Chamber of Commerce to update their members on the latest regulatory developments and trends in Chinese individual income tax, as well as topics on remuneration packaging; equity-based compensation structuring; and others. Michelle has also delivered lectures to students in the finance discipline of Fudan University on expatriation taxation.

Claire Yao joined Corning China (Shanghai) Regional Headquarters in Jan 2012. She has over 15 years of experience in mobility, including 10+ years as Mobility manager of Corning in APAC. She has facilitated many expansion projects and has designed local and regional policies for talent relocations. She became a certified GMS in 2012.

Claire’s work in Corning focuses on global, regional and local talent flows, including immigration and mobility compliance, linking mobility to talent acquisition and talent management. She has extensive experience on expatriation localization and expansion projects. Her past working experience on Japan and India Total Rewards also enables her to have in-depth knowledge on local policies and practices in Asia.
