Ms. Dan Wang is currently the Chief Economist of Hang Seng Bank (China), responsible for China-related research, macro forecast, Sino-US relation, and geopolitical risk analysis.
Dan previously worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) where she spent 5 years as China Chief Analyst, leading forecast and research. Prior to that, she was a postdoc fellow in the Chinese Academy of Sciences as an economist, specializing in agriculture. Dan holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Washington, with a focus on environment and econometrics.
Kevin is a Senior Partner of McKinsey, based in our Greater China Office. He is the leader of McKinsey’s Digital Practice in Asia, and the Global co-Leader of McKinsey’s Ecommerce Special Initiative. Kevin primarily focuses on helping leading consumer-facing companies, as well as internet and technology leaders, develop competitive strategies and innovative operating models, enabled by digital technology.
Kevin is the author of a new report on the future of digital innovation in China. He leads McKinsey’s annual research into digital consumer behavior in China, and is the co-author of the McKinsey Global Institute’s landmark study of China’s digital economy. Kevin publishes regularly on technology topics in leading English and Chinese-language publications.
Kevin earned an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, and a B.E. in Communication Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Patrick’s consulting experience has extended to a variety of industries, including automotive, FMCG, retail, luxury goods, pharmaceutical and life science, chemical, professional services, internet etc. Leading clients include Ford, CATL, Tesla, SAIC, Chang’an Group, J&J, BMW, Coco-cola, Accor, Yanfeng, Bosch China, Dongfeng, Starbucks and Disney etc.
Awarded as the “best-mentor” by Mercer Learning, Patrick has been successfully delivered public training course to over 20,000 audience in terms of job grading, compensation planning and rewards systems. He is also the host and key-note speaker for multiple China-and-regional-level conferences.
Before joining Mercer, Patrick has been working for a management consulting firm specialized in providing vertical solutions to corporate strategies, market entry and establish SOP.
Patrick graduated from Tongji University with degree in Business management and is proficient in English. He is also a certified Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) by WorldatWork (WAW).
Zak Dychtwald is a strategic advisor, with expertise in global cooperation, the emerging East and West youth mindset, and the interactions of rising China and the world. He is the Founder and CEO of Young China Group, a think tank and consultancy which works to deepen understanding of the effects of the evolving identity of China’s young generation on the marketplace, workplace, and international politics.
Zak is also the author of the critically acclaimed Young China: How the Restless Generation Will Change Their Country and the World, which explores how the country’s young generation, born after 1990, feels about everything, from money and sex, to their government. In 2022, Zak was named an Asia 21 Young Leaders Fellow. He has been invited to speak at Harvard University, The Wall Street Journal's CEO Council Summit, Google’s Next Billion Users Initiative and the Aspen Ideas Festival, among others.
