Rebecca Ivey

Rebecca has 15 years of experience working on public-private collaboration and corporate social responsibility, with strong competencies in high-level event organization, program development, expert and stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment. Since 2019, with the World Economic Forum Beijing Representative Office, including: Head, Governance and International Cooperation Programming; Head, Impact, Global Programming; Chief Representative. Since 2010, with the World Economic Forum in Geneva, including: Program Lead, Society and Values; Head, Governance, and Policy. 2009-2010, with Global Humanitarian Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. 2006-2008, with EY and APCO Worldwide in Beijing, China. 2006, BA (Hons) in East Asian Studies, Princeton University, USA; 2019, MSc (with Distinction) in Behavioral Science, London School of Economics, UK.

Dr. Dajian Zhu

Director of Institute of Governance for Sustainability, Tongji University



Dr. Zhu is a Distinguished Professor of School of Economics & Management, Director of Institute of Governance for Sustainable Development, Head of Department of Public Management and Policy, and Vice Chairman of University Academic Committee at Tongji University in Shanghai.


His research interests include sustainable development and green economy, corporate social responsibility, urban and regional development, public service, and public-private partnership. He was a senior research scholar at Harvard University in 2005 and a visiting research fellow at Melbourne University in 1994-1995.

Ed Zhao

Senior Vice President and Asia Managing Director, Milliken & Company


Ed Zhao is the Asia Managing Director and SVP of Milliken & Company, headquartered in South Carolina, USA. During his tenure at Milliken, Ed held a variety of technical and business leadership positions, including Director of R&D for global chemical business, Director of Sales, and Region Manager of Asia chemical business. He was appointed to Milliken Asia Managing Director in 2011, where he oversees all Milliken businesses in Asia. 



Prior to joining Milliken, Ed received a B.S. from the University of Science and Technology of China and a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a graduate of The Stanford Executive Program. Ed is a member of the China Petrochemical and Chemical Industry Federation (CPCIF), Shanghai AmCham, China Task Force of Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW) and American Chemical Society, and a Board member of Georgia Tech China Foundation. 

Abby Bi

Director of Sustainability, Corporate Affairs, Walmart China


Abby Bi is leading Walmart China's sustainable practices on climate and waste as well as economic empowerment. Before this role, she was responsible for providing the management and business departments of Walmart China with macro-level and industry policy trend analysis and the information related to food safety laws and regulations.

 

Prior to joining Walmart China, Abby worked at APCO Worldwide in its Beijing office, where she provided consulting services on government affairs, stakeholder engagement, and public relations for clients in food, consumer goods, agriculture, and education. Abby also worked at Walmart HQ in Bentonville (AR, USA), where she evaluated the performance of strategic sourcing initiatives in four of Walmart's global markets and Walmart Foundation's projects on women's economic empowerment. Abby's other work experience includes an evaluation consultant at the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance in Little Rock (AR, USA) for a federal government-funded project on food safety and nutrition issues for children and a consultant for the Asia Foundation's training projects in China. 

 

Abby has rich experience working with various nonprofit organizations, as well as with UN agencies, social entrepreneurship institutions, and Chinese government departments. She has deep insights in policy and public awareness advocacy and program management for social issues such as circular economy, gender equality, poverty alleviation, education, and corporate responsibility in the value chain. In her early career, Abby spent six years working for grass-roots NGOs in Beijing, China.

Richard Brubaker

Managing Director, Collective Responsibility


Richard is the Managing Director of Collective Responsibility, Founder of HandsOn China, and an Adjunct Professor of Sustainability and Social Innovation at Southern Methodist University.


Driven by the belief that change begins with a single step, Richard Brubaker has spent the last 20 years in Asia working to engage, inspire and equip those around him to take their first step.


To date, Richard has overseen the development and execution of more than 200 projects focused on solving the social, environmental, and economic challenges that are faced in Asia.


Richard holds a Master's in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.

Becky Cho

Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Communications, APAC, VF Corporation


Becky leads the Corporate Affairs function at VF Corporation in APAC, driving all aspects of communications for VF Corporation in APAC. For the last two decades, Becky's primary focus has been to lead comprehensive communications programs that support the company's sustainability strategy, goals, and actions.

 

Whether it is on mobility solutions or circular design, her work is often about disrupting the CSR model through rigorous dialogue and creative solutions. Becky believes in environmental stewardship and social responsibility, and their inherent connection to business purpose and value. She is currently partnering with NGOs by leveraging VF's sustainability agenda through community projects, education, and dialogue among designers and brands.

 

Before joining VF, Becky was leading the Corporate Communications function in Shanghai for Adidas, Greater China. Prior to this role, she was Director of Corporate Communications at Ford Motor Company.

 

Having lived and worked in Toronto, Taipei, Chicago, Washington DC, and Hong Kong, Becky is calling Shanghai home again.

Anders Lennartsson

Country Sustainability Director, IKEA China


Anders Lennartsson is the Country Sustainability Director of IKEA China. His previous experiences include working as Country Sustainability Manager in IKEA Retail Norway and Global Sustainability Manager in IKEA Food Services. Anders' responsibility here in China is to lead and enable the implementation of the IKEA sustainability strategy, People and Planet Positive, at IKEA retail including its logistic units.


Motivated by the belief that sustainability goals and actions should be integrated into the business, Anders Lennartsson has worked closely together with business owners to support and push the sustainability agenda for various functions, ranging from commercial, real estate, and logistics.


Anders has worked with his company with three focus areas: healthy and sustainable living, circular and climate, and fair & inclusive. Anders also makes sure that apart from delivering to the global goals in these areas, he also ensures that the company delivers to the expectations of customers, government, and other stakeholders in China.
