Norman Gu has been the General Manager of Hormel (China) Investment Co., Ltd since May 2016, responsible for Hormel’s overall China strategy, business development and daily operations.
Norman has been engaged in sales and marketing for his entire career and has rich experience in the food service business segment. Norman joined Hormel in 2003 as a Regional Sales Manager - East China. In 2006, he was relocated to Beijing Hormel and promoted as Sales Director, then back . He returned to Shanghai Hormel as Sales Director in 2008. He became Director of the Foodservice Business Unit in 2010. In 2014, he was named as VP of Sales & Marketing China and was responsible for the entire commercial operation of the company.

An over 30 year veteran of The Coca-Cola Company (TCCC), Curt has been President of The Coca-Cola Greater China, Korea & Mongolia Business Unit (TCCC GC & K BU) since September 2016. The GC&K operation covers more than 1.7 billion population, directly employing more than 51,000 system associates and supporting over 500,000 additional jobs.
After successfully engineered the refranchising to build even stronger two bottler franchising system in China, Curt is driving the GC&K to become the fastest-growing market for TCCC. The Coca-Cola GC&K made it to the finalist of 2018 The Woodruff Cup for Best All-Around Performance across all the Company’s Business Units.
Since joining Coca-Cola USA in 1983, Curt has served a wide range of executive positions in the USA and a number of ASEAN countries before being appointed Managing Director of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Egypt in 2000. In late 2003, Curt became Senior Regional Director for the Western Africa Region and was appointed President of the North and West Africa Division in January 2005, covering 27 countries. Later Curt’s portfolio expanded to 34 countries to include the Middle East, Pakistan, and Afghanistan as President of the Middle East and North Africa Business Unit.
Curt has been named to the Forbes Top Ten influential leaders list in the Middle East for 6 consecutive years. In 2012, his MENA Business Unit was awarded The Woodruff Cup, an award recognizing top company performance. Curt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Indiana University Kelley School. He is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Stanford University. Curt sits on the Board of the Indiana University Foundation and Kelley Business School Dean’s Advisory Council. He is currently Chairman of Coca-Cola Bottlers Manufacturing Holdings Limited. and its subsidiaries. Curt was recently named to The Indianan University Distinguished Alumni Service Award recognizing Indiana’s top accomplishment in their field of education. Jackson Chan serves as the President and Managing Director of Cargill Protein Business in China. Jackson joined this business since October 2014. Before Jackson became the President of the protein business, he has been leading the business operations of the primary and further processing facilities, Supply Chain, Food Safety Quality & Regulatory, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering & Build Project teams, Feed manufacturing, nutrition as well as the Risk Management.

She now serves as Regulatory Affairs Director, Human Nutrition, Greater China, in ADM.

Michael Norris is Agency China’s Research & Strategy Manager. He leads primary research and consulting services to nutrition, pet care, skincare, and luxury brands from China, Europe, North America, and Australasia.
