Administrative functions like procurement, HR, IT, and accounting are the glue that holds every business together. But these functions often lag in digitalizing and streamlining processes. AmCham Shanghai's Tech & Innovation Committee invites you to a session about office digitalization on Sep 14, from 8:45 to 10:40 am. We will explore how developing an entrepreneurial and digital mindset in administrative functions can lead to more agile, cost-effective, and human-friendly processes.

The session will invite technology experts and business leaders who lead digitalization in their organizations to join and share their insights. The key principles of our discussion are: digital > analog | variable > fixed cost | bottom up > top down. We will explore how digital technologies such as augmented reality (AR), enterprise Metaverse, AI, and big data platforms can enable companies to rethink how they operate sales, HR, accounting, finance, and other office functions.

His profound experience spans across corporate real estate strategy development, integrated facility and corporate services, digital transformation and asset portfolio management, and includes clients such as GE, HSBC, AIA, Sanofi, OPPO, TCL and other Fortune 500 companies from the banking and finance, technology and manufacturing industries. With qualifications from Massey University, the University of Auckland and Stanford University, Shane was honoured with a Top-Rated Faculty Award as a Master of Corporate Real Estate by CoreNet Global in 2022.

Richard Cheng is the COO and co-founder of Jingteng Tech, a company focused on building mixed reality solution for team collaboration in the enterprise Metaverse. Richard graduated from Fudan University and worked in Microsoft China for 15 years. During his career path at Microsoft, Richard changed his role from engineer to management. He's now responsible for Jingteng Tech's internal operation and external collaboration.
