As Chair of the IIC SFTG, Erik works with IIC members to reduce the risk for early adopters of Industrial IoT technologies in manufacturing. Selena Chu is currently the Vice President for Dow Greater China. She provides leadership and general management of Greater China, Dow’s largest international market - oversight of country strategy, sites management, and people & culture development. Based in Shanghai, China, she also serves as CIO for Dow Asia Pacific to drive digital solution development and implementation, covering areas of Digital Acceleration, Enterprise Service, and Information Security. She also partners with businesses and functions to enable regional business strategies.

Selena has over 20 years of consulting and industry experience covering various leadership roles including R&D Operation, Business/Innovation Strategy, Technical Information Service, and Digitization. Prior to joining Dow in 2008, she worked for GE (General Electric), KPMG Consulting Co, with working assignment in the US.

Selena holds a master’s degree of Computer Science, and bachelor’s degree of Industrial Design, both from Zhejiang University. She was recently listed as “Top 50 Women in Tech 2021” by Forbes China, and “Top 50 Future MPW 2021” by Fortune China.

Bruce Fu is the managing director for the APCO Worldwide’s Beijing’s office. He is also the co-lead of the APCO global tech practice. Mr. Fu has deep knowledge of China’s technical standards, IPR, and competition-related issues in the ICT sector. At APCO, Mr. Fu provides clients with counsel on government relations building, operations management, stakeholder engagement, and market entry strategy across different sectors.

Prior to joining APCO, Mr. Fu was a business manager at the EU Chamber of Commerce in China, where he worked closely with the European telecommunications industry lobbying China’s telecommunications regulators. In this role he also supported ICT Working Group members on telecommunications regulatory policies and TBT/Standards and directly engaged Chinese authorities on antitrust issues related to implementation rules of Chinese anti-monopoly law on their behalf.

Mr. Fu served as the vice chair of the ICT Working Group at the EU Chamber of Commerce in China over the past 7 years driving the EU-China dialogues and negotiations on key issues such as Comprehensive Agreement on Investment (CAI). He holds master’s degrees in European studies and European modern history from the Catholic University of Leuven. He is fluent in English and Chinese and speaks intermediate French.

Dr. Zhang has more than 20 years of experience in IT development, business development, and enterprise IT technology and management, both in the USA and China. He brings extensive experience in the fields of IT governance, cloud computing, data analytics, AI/ML and IoT, and leverages his expertise to create value through business innovation and technology adoption.

Dr. Zhang has held a variety of leadership roles, including CTO for Retail Banking and Credit Card Center, Bank of China in 2002-2006, and CTO of SAP Greater China in 2006-2012. Dr. Zhang also worked for Ford Motor Company from 1993 to 2002 in various positions, with Ford Microelectronics, Ford Research Lab, Corporate IT and Finance, and held the position of CIO of FordDirect in 2000-2002. This experience gives him deep expertise in the critical role technology plays in business transformation, and helped him to hone skills in cutting-edge areas like technology evangelism, solution architecture, data and analytics, customer engagement marketing, e-commerce operations and more.

Dr. Zhang graduated from Peking University with a B.S. degree, from Rice University with both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, and obtained a Master of Engineering Management degree from Wayne State University.

George Chen joined Meta (previously known as Facebook) in January 2016 as the company’s first-ever policy representative based in Hong Kong, home for Meta in the Greater China region. Currently as the Managing Director, Public Policy, for Greater China, Mongolia, and Central Asia, George serves as Meta’s “ambassador” to engage with the people and governments across the vast and diverse regions. At Meta, George also serves as Asia Pacific supply chain policy coordinator, helping to manage metaverse product related issues.

Prior to Meta, George has held management roles in some major media organizations. George was a 2014 Yale World Fellow and he received his Master's degree in international relations from the University of Hong Kong in 2010. George has been on the Board of AmCham Hong Kong since 2019, for which he is also currently an ExCo member.
