Timothy MacDonald
Managing Director of ChrysalisTim MacDonald is founder and Managing Director of Chrysalis Consulting, based in Nanjing, China. Chrysalis assist firms in China to create high performance work cultures through the maximization of people, process and systems. We are trusted by multinational firms across several industry sectors; chemical, automotive, technology, FMCG, insurance, healthcare and others. Tim’s international management experience includes work in Mexico, South America, Asia and Germany. He has conducted under-graduate studies in Intercultural Relations at Bethany University, Santa Cruz, CA, and graduate studies in Business Administration at Arizona State University. Tim is a pragmatic visionary, offering strong insight in strategy, leadership, people development and innovation.
Jonathan Shyu
Chief Representative, Nanjing Center at American Chamber of Commerce in ShanghaiAs the longest tenured U.S. expatriate working for the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, Jonathan has 6 years of experience working in non-profit associations. In 2012, Jonathan moved to Suzhou to start the AmCham Shanghai’s Suzhou Center, and in 2016, Jonathan launched AmCham Shanghai’s Nanjing Center. Jonathan has experience in the non-profit sector running business development and marketing, developing manufacturing content, managing events, and developing business community programs. Jonathan graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Accounting, and is currently in a Masters program at the University of Maryland University College. Jonathan currently resides in Suzhou and is an active member of the Suzhou International Fellowship
