Eric Zheng
President at AmCham ShanghaiEric Zheng became the President of AmCham Shanghai in 2022. He has been involved in the Chamber for over 15 years as a member, committee leader, Board member, Board treasurer, Board secretary, and Board vice chair, and Board chair (2018 and 2019).
Eric brings a unique combination of private and public sector experiences to the presidency. He worked in management consulting with PwC in the U.S. and later served for the U.S. Department of Commerce as the principal commercial officer at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou. Eric had a long career with AIG in Greater China and held a series of positions that culminated in his service as CEO of AIG China. He then chaired the board of Heng An Standard Life Insurance Company.
In volunteer roles, Eric serves as the Greater China regional chair of the Committee of 100 and as a board director of Shanghai Make-A-Wish Charity Foundation. The Shanghai municipal government has granted Eric its Magnolia Gold Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the city. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
John D. Van Fleet
Director of Corporate Globalization and adjunct faculty, Antai College of Economics & Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong UniversityVan Fleet serves as adjunct faculty and Director, Corporate Globalization, at the Antai College of Economic & Management, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where he focuses on corporate interface and development for Antai’s students and faculty. He also produces and hosts Antai’s Doing Business in China program. His research project is First Time in History, an exploration of China’s socioeconomic rise since 1978. For more than ten years, he served as founding executive director and Assistant Dean at the USC Marshall-SJTU Antai Global Executive MBA in Shanghai. Previous to his academic career, Van Fleet spent 15 years in the private sector, based in Japan and China, serving multinationals as well as startups. He is extensively published on broader aspects of business, history and society in the East Asia region, in Nikkei Asia, The Asian Review of Books, Caixin, CGTN, the China Economic Review, The Diplomat, the Royal Asiatic Society China Journal, SupChina and Xinhua News. He holds both undergraduate and MBA degrees from the University of Southern California
John is also the Chair for Education Committee at AmCham Shanghai.

Phoebe You
俄亥俄州立大学中国办公室主任 at The Ohio State University由超女士作为美国俄亥俄州立大学驻中国办公室的负责人，拥有11年的运营和管理经验。作为俄州大中国办公室的主要创始人和领导者，专注于开发大中华地区的校友网络，建立学校与大中华地区的高校之间的联系，拓展学教育类培训项目，并为科研合作、招生、和学生就业提供帮助。
作为国际高等教育积极倡导者，自2016年起担任AUCA海外高校驻华联盟指导委员会委员，该联盟旨在搭建一个专业平台，连接海外大学常驻中国的广大教育工作者。同时，她也经常作为顾问，为美国高等教育机构管理者提供进入中国市场和建立中国办公室的咨询意见。

Phoebe You has eleven years of management and operational experience in international higher education field. As the founder of The Ohio State University’s first overseas office in Shanghai, Ms. You focuses on developing Ohio State’s alumni network in the Greater China area, liaising the university with the Chinese higher education institutes, exploring the market for various educational training programs as well as providing assistance for faculty research, student recruitment, and student career services.
As an active international higher education advocate, Ms. You served on the steering committee of AUCA which also known as American Universities' China Association since 2016, which aims at developing a professional platform to connect educators working for US and overseas institutions in China. Ms. You is frequently consulted by US higher education administrators about establishing China operations and strategies to enter the China market.
Ms. You’s previous experiences include co-op experience in top 150 largest law firm Schottenstein Zox & Dunn and legal research experience with renowned professor from Moritz College of Law. She has a LLM from Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University and a LLB degree from East China University of Science and Technology.

Ms Fiona You, Head of Finance and Administration of Wuxi Dipont School of Arts and Science and Manager of Wuxi Dipont Education Group. Ms You is also responsible for managing and operating several international curriculum centers including Wuxi No.1 High School (A-Level &IB), Jiangsu Tianyi High School (AP) and Jiangyin Nanjing High School (A-Level). She graduated from the University of Birmingham with a master's degree in education, is a member of IACAC (International Association for College Admission Counseling) and obtained the college board certification for university counselling. Ms You has been deeply engaged in international education for more than 10 years. From university lecturer to the Head of international curriculum centers and an international school, she has spent many years helping more than 1,000 students apply for their preferred overseas universities (including Cambridge, Oxford and Ivy League universities in the United States).
Ms. Fiona You has an in-depth and unique perspective on international education. She is not only familiar with various international curriculum and specialised in optimising university counselling, but also dedicated to the operation of independent schools. She is striving to put her educational philosophy into practice.
