Based in China since 2009, he has worked for news media, agencies and in-house, and has experience across multiple marketing and communications functions. He is a passionate believer in the power of storytelling to influence stakeholders and deliver real business outcomes. At the same time, he is committed to nurturing and inspiring communications and marketing professionals to open their eyes to the world around them so that our industry can create more meaningful conversations. A volunteer at AmCham Shanghai since 2019, he is very proud to serve as Chair of the Marketing & Media Committee.

    Andrea Fenn

    Co-CEO of Adiacent China

    Andrea is an award-winning digital strategist and the Co-CEO of Adiacent China, a technology marketing company in Shanghai. Adiacent is part of VAR Group, an Italian-listed digital transformation company with over 2bn EUR in revenue.

    He has lived 15 years in China, whose majority he spent working with the country’s evolving digital landscape. Prior to Adiacent, he was a founding member of the APAC social media team at Ogilvy, a researcher of Chinese social media at Leiden University, and a journalist for CNN and China Daily.

    A regular member of the Campaign Asia Digital A-List, he speaks at public events, business schools and management trainings globally. He is an Effie Asia jury member and content consultant and trainer at the Alibaba Global Ecommerce Talent program among others.

    Andrea was born in Prato, Italy is an Italian-British dual-national, and is fluent in written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.

Her work has appeared in CNN, Fast Company China, Barron's Penta, MarketWatch, Vogue Business, Glossy, Monocle, Sixth Tone, SupChina, and Neocha. Yaling now leverages her expertise to assist businesses in finding their niche among Chinese consumers.

    Founder & Chairman of Big One Lab

    Chen Mu is the Chairman of BigOne Lab, Co-editor of Baiguan News, and Director of Canopy. He is also a guest lecturer at the Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance and a specially appointed expert of Beijing City. He graduated from the University of Virginia.

    BigOne Lab is dedicated to developing data products for corporate clients and global institutional investors. It has received over 100 million yuan in investments from  Shanghai International, ZhenFund, CGC, and S&P. BigOne Lab serves hundreds of global investment institutions, consumer brands, and new economy companies, including Sequoia Capital, JPMorgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Yum China, L'Oreal Paris, Zippos, Didi, Meituan, Genki Forest, and Luckin Coffee.

    Co-founder/Architect of STUDIO DOHO

    Jason is a US-licensed architect and has been working in China since 2010. In 2015 he co-founded STUDIO DOHO, which specializes in brand experience design for retail, hospitality and office projects. Clients include international brands such as Zippo, Coca-Cola, Budweiser, George and Lotus Bakeries, as well as local Chinese brands such as Hisense, Suning and Zhou Hei Ya.

    Prior to co-founding DOHO he served as Design Manager for Nike's Greater China Heaquarters in Shanghai. He is currently pursuing an MBA at Imperial College London Business School with a specialization in Strategy and will graduate in Dec. 2023.
