Bill Burnett is an Adjunct Professor and the Executive Director of the design programs at Stanford. He received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering - Product Design at Stanford and has worked in industry and academia ever since. He directs the undergraduate and graduate program in design and teaches classes at the d.school. In addition, he has worked in startups and Fortune 100 companies, including seven years at Apple designing award-winning notebook computers and a number of years in the toy industry designing Star Wars toys. He advises several startup technology companies started by his students.
Bill is also the co-founder of the Life Design lab and co-author of Designing Your Life, a book that captures the lessons from 13 years of teaching the Stanford class of the same name and Designing Your Work Life, a book that helps you reimagine your job. Both books are based on design thinking and positive psychology and attempt to help people answer the age-old question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?”
Mr. Paul Marca is Principal at Parallax Global Advisors, LLC a firm which provides strategic consulting for those seeking to transform education through technology. As former Associate Vice Provost at Stanford University, Paul was responsible for an extensive industry education portfolio of hundreds of courses annually. He has been instrumental in extending Stanford’s impact internationally including developing programs in Singapore, China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Brazil, Thailand, the Middle East and in numerous other countries. He has been a keynote speaker around the globe on the importance of innovation and entrepreneurship as well as the role technology is playing in redefining education and employment in the workplace.

He is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for the American University of Phnom Penh. Paul has B.A. in Communication, with emphasis in Television & Film production, from Stanford University.
Eric Zheng became the President of AmCham Shanghai in 2022. He has been involved in the Chamber for over 15 years as a member, committee leader, Board member, Board treasurer, Board secretary, and Board vice chair, and Board chair (2018 and 2019).
Eric brings a unique combination of private and public sector experiences to the presidency. He worked in management consulting with PwC in the U.S. and later served for the U.S. Department of Commerce as the principal commercial officer at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou. Eric had a long career with AIG in Greater China and held a series of positions that culminated in his service as CEO of AIG China. He then chaired the board of Heng An Standard Life Insurance Company.
In volunteer roles, Eric serves as the Greater China regional chair of the Committee of 100 and as a board director of Shanghai Make-A-Wish Charity Foundation. The Shanghai municipal government has granted Eric its Magnolia Gold Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the city. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Sharon Yang is the Chief Human Resources Officer of SPD Silicon Valley Bank (SSVB). SSVB is the first technical bank in China focusing on supporting innovation companies. The past 20 plus years of Sharon’s work experience includes a number of HR roles spanning across a variety of industries and locations, including Banking, Real Estate Consulting, Renewable Energy and Engineering industries. Lilly is the Vice President of HR Greater China at Nike. Lilly joined Nike HR in 2015, she held two Vice President positions in Singapore and US prior to her current post.

Curtis Baker is the Asia Pacific Regional Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) and Employee Experience (EX) leader. In this combined role, Curtis is responsible for driving and implementing the Inclusion & Diversity + Employee Experience strategy and providing expertise, consultation and support to business, functional, and ERG leaders and EX change champions in the region. Collaborating with the businesses and functions on inclusion and employee experience interventions that lead to measurable results and long-term culture change, he also manages relationship support for I&D + EX partnerships and represent Dow externally consistent with the region’s outreach and thought leadership initiatives.
Curtis obtained a B.A. in Public Relations from Murray State University, KY. After a 7-year career in the music industry in Nashville, TN, he relocated to Orlando, FL shifting careers to private education through the admissions teams and international student programs. In 2013, ready for a new adventure, Curtis relocated to China to work with The Walt Disney Company China within the HR Talent Acquisition team.
His diversity and inclusion journey started as Curtis was the founder of the DisneyPRIDE Greater China (LGBTQ+ ERG) at both The Walt Disney Company Greater China and at Shanghai Disneyland Resort while also an active member of the Diversity & Inclusion Team for North Asia. This was the first ERG for Disney in the Asia Pacific region. He later moved to Shanghai Disney Resort as the Diversity & Inclusion lead prior to joining Dow.
Curtis previously served on the ShanghaiPRIDE Executive Leadership team for three years helping to launch the first Out & Equal Roundtable in China in 2018 and continues to serve on the Out & Equal China Business Council. Damien Schrobiltgen is the Vice President of Human Resources for Goodyear Asia Pacific, since March 2019 based in Shanghai. In this role, Damien works in close partnership with the Asia Pacific President and the Leadership Team, supports the business growth and transformation across the Region. Damien also partners with leaders at various levels within the organization to coach, support and provide guidance on organizational structure, as well as implement global/regional HR programs. This will include strategies for Change Management, Staffing, Talent Management, Performance Management and leading the implementation of Human Resource Best Practices.
Damien began his career with Goodyear as a Human Resources Trainee in the Innovation Center in Luxembourg back in 2007. Over the last 15 years, Damien has held progressive positions in HR including Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner for various functions like Global Operations, Innovation Center, Procurement, Finance, Sales & Marketing. Prior to his current role, he was the Human Resources Director responsible for Sales & Marketing in Goodyear across Europe based in the Europe, Middle East and Africa Headquarter in Brussels (Belgium). Before that, Damien had a chance to have an assignment of 4-years in Goodyear Global Headquarter in Akron (USA) as the HR Director for Global Operations (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, PMO).
Damien has been recognized as “Young HR Talent of The Year - 2011” by HR One, the Human Resources Community of Luxembourg. He has also been recognized as the “2018 Outstanding EMEA Leader” during the Goodyear EMEA Annual Leadership event.
A native of Arlon (Belgium), Damien is married to Aurore and has two children, Arthur and Avril. He earned a Master in Business Engineering from the HEC-ULG Management School of Liege (Belgium) with a major in Human Resources Management. He spent the last semester of his degree studying in Tennessee (USA).
Cally Wu is HRVP, Corporate Asia Pacific of Eaton since May 2018. In her role, Wu comprehensively leads the HR functions of COE, service, TA in the region, as well as HRBP of Corp.
Cally and her team are responsible for designing and deploying HR-related strategic plans and programs in the region. Providing leadership development and learning platforms, optimizing comprehensive incentive programs, promoting employee
relations, cultivating I&D culture, as well as attracting and selecting enterprise talent to meet the development needs of both individual and company’s growth; Cally and her team also provide a full range of customized and centralized HR
services for the entire APAC region, and advocate the modern
