AmCham Shanghai's Automotive Committee is excited to present our annual 2022 Automotive Conference on Thursday, October 20th from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm at AmCham Shanghai Conference Room.
In an increasingly volatile geopolitical environment, the automotive industry in China is coping with multiple simultaneous challenges to the status quo. While still the world's largest automotive market, overall growth has stagnated since the peak year of 2017. In recent years the industry has had to cope with rising US-China trade tensions, the impact of the COVID pandemic, the Russia-Ukraine war, zero-COVID lockdowns, and the rise of new energy vehicles.
2022 is a time of unprecedented change with supply chains shifting and the emergence of Chinese local brands as the leaders in the electrification race. In this one-day event industry leaders, analysts, and experts will come together to discuss the following topics:
- Outlook for China's Auto Industry in 2022 and Beyond
- Navigating Post-Covid Supply Chain Disruptions
- Competing in the Intelligent Connected Vehicle and New Energy Vehicle Era
- Cross-border Management in an Age of Decoupling
