Dr. Ling Fan is a Scholar and entrepreneur to bridge machine intelligence and creativity. He received his doctoral degree from Harvard University and master's degree from Princeton University. He was an assistant professor at the University of California at Berkeley and China Central Academy of Fine Arts.
In 2015, He founded tezign.com, a leading technology startup with the mission to build digital infrastructure for creative resources, with the vision that technology empowering imagination. In 2016 Dr. Fan founded Tongji University Design Artificial Intelligence Lab, dedicated to the applied research to bring machine learning and A.I. technology to the creative industry. In 2019, Dr. Fan published From Universality of Computation to Universality of Imagination to explore the impact of data intelligence on human creativity.
Dr. Fan is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, an Aspen Institute China Fellow, a member of IEEE Global Council for Extended Intelligence, and a member of the Future Forum. He was awarded National DDF Award (2018) and 2019 Fortune 40 Under 40.
Cici Li joined Shanghai Disney Resort in March 2018 as Vice President, Human Resources. In this role, she provides the strategic Human Resources leadership to further resort’s business priorities and deliver on the vision of Disney Parks. Cici is also responsible for the planning, integration, and implementation of all human resources strategies to enable the business and the development of Shanghai Disney Resort. She supports all leaders across the organization to continue to develop a culture of Disney leadership in China.
Cici joined Shanghai Disney Resort from Intel, where she most recently served as GM, Intel China Online Sales Group, and she successfully expanded the business by accelerating their B2B online platform development and leveraging the latest internet technologies in Mobile app, social tools and AI-based Chatbot. Sharon Yang is the Managing Director and Chief Human Resources Officer of SPD Silicon Valley Bank (“SSVB”). SSVB is the first technology and innovation bank in China serving as an independent legal entity, and it provides unique financial products and services to the technology and innovation industry in China.
Over her past twenty-year career, Sharon’s experience spans a number of HR roles across a variety of industries and locations. Apart from being the China HR head for companies in Banking, Real Estate Consulting, and Renewable Energy industries, Sharon was also once based in HK and served as the global HR business partner for an international engineering firm. In the early stage of her career, Sharon took multiple roles in a Shanghai-based Chinese state-owned group before she went to Singapore in 1997 and worked years there.
Sharon holds an MSc in Human Resource Strategy from the University of Sheffield, UK, and an MBA from the University of Western Sydney, Australia. Julie Zhu is a visionary global HR leader with close to 20-year experience rooted in hi-tech industry. Jessie Ma has been working as a HR professional since last two decades, responsible for overall human resources management, providing organizational strategic plan and change management in terms of talent development, retention and engagement, making analysis and advises while working for various international organizations including Christian Dior, H&M and Ralph Lauren. Maria Mora Vinueza was appointed director of Human Resources for GM China, effective August 1, 2018 based in Shanghai.
Maria began her GM career in human resources in 2001 at GM Colmotores in Colombia. She later held various assignments throughout South America before becoming director of Human Resources/Labor for GM Argentina in 2005. Maria was appointed director of Talent Management in the United States in 2007, director of Organizational Capability for GM International Operations in Shanghai in 2009 before transferring to GM Russia in 2010 as director of Human Resources. Maria returned to South America in 2011 as regional lead of GM Global Business Services (GBS) People Services, based in Colombia. Prior to taking on her current position, she was director of GBS People Services – Transformation in the United States from 2016.
Maria is a native of Colombia. She has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia/Lulea Tekniska Universitet in Sweden, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Insead - PGSM in France.
Jessica Dou is Asia HR Director at Celanese, a global chemical leader in the production of differentiated chemistry solutions and specialty materials used in most major industries and consumer applications.

Mr. Wilson has more than two decades of experience assisting multinational corporations with labor and corporate law matters in China.
After developing a background in PRC corporate law, Mr. Wilson has focused exclusively on PRC labor and employment law since 2006. He has advised many multinational corporations on labor issues relating to corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. He has also represented clients regarding reductions in force and employee transfer issues. Mr. Wilson has also advised clients on stock option, data privacy, and employee benefit issues, as well as issues relating to the employment of foreign nationals in China. His JunHe employment team is also active in many labor arbitration and litigation matters.
Mr. Wilson has spoken widely on PRC labor law in China, Europe, and the United States. He received his J.D. and MA in Chinese studies from the University of Washington.
Ms. Lu is a Partner of Baker McKenzie’s Shanghai office. She routinely leads massive employment projects, such as mass layoffs, restructuring, investigations, and employee unrests / strikes, involving challenging and complex considerations. She also specializes in strategic employment counselling and developing creative employment solutions for multinational corporations in their global transactions and day-to-day operations. Ms. Lu was named the “Leading Individual: Labor and Employment (Foreign Firms, China)” by Legal 500 Asia Pacific in 2019 and 2020, and “Leading Lawyer – Employment: PRC Law (International Firms)” by Chambers Asia-Pacific Guide from 2016 to 2020.
Ms. Lu graduated from the University of lowa College of Law with a J.D. (2004) and an LL.M. (2001), and also from the East China University of Politics and Law with an LL.B. (2000). She is admitted before the State Bar of Missouri, U.S.A.
Joyce Gong is a Senior Client Partner with Industrial & Financial Service Practice of Korn Ferry International, based in Shanghai. She is heading HR practice, leading to promote Korn Ferry’s total talent solutions in China. She also leads set up China Enterprise sector and China Education Markets.
Ms. Gong has over twenty years of experience in human resources consulting in China, and over nineteen years in the executive search business. She joined Korn Ferry in 2005. She has been dedicated to the search of C-level executives in the industrial and financial service sectors in China and Asia Pacific. Ms. Gong successfully led to build HR functional practice in China. And she also led to develop “on-boarding process” for senior leaders in China.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Gong was a Senior Consultant with another executive
search firm for four years, concentrating on chemical, financial service, hi-tech, automotive, diversified manufacturing and consumer goods industries.
Her earlier experience included six years at an HR consulting company as an Assistant Manager and Senior Consultant of its business consulting division.
Ms. Gong holds her Doctor of Education from Rossier School of Education at University of Southern California, a Master in Business Administration from Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California, and a bachelor’s degree in Scientific English from Shanghai University. She also completed a master program in Human Resources Management from China Peoples’ University.
Ms. Gong is a certified coach of International Coach Federation.
Simon has over 18 years consulting and management experience within the professional recruitment industry in China, Australia and UK. Simon is currently the Managing Director for the Greater China region, with overall responsibility for over 300 staff across offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
In addition to his role with Hays, Simon is currently the Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Board for AustCham Shanghai, the peak body for Australian business interests in China. In this volunteer position, Simon leads the Board to provide strategic direction, governance and financial oversight for AustCham Shanghai.
Simon graduated from the University of Western Australia (BSc) and maintains a strong personal interest in infrastructure, renewable energy & conservation.
Michelle has been partnering with senior executives from China, Asia Pacific and global for different B2B and B2C industrials over the last 20+ years. With her profound experiences in sales, marketing and HR, she witnessed the expanding scales and responsibilities falling on HR professionals over her roles as country HR leader and Business HR partner. She has been exploring how to have HR work closer and more effectively with business and to enable HR as a sustainable part of business growth; and as a Certified Executive Coach, Michelle also provides continuous efforts in executive coaching to leaders from China and Asia Pacific countries, from which she learns the pain points from businesses leaders and also demonstrates new values that leaders and HR can play in influencing people. Eva‘s corporate career includes 20 years of Human Resources Management experiences with Moseeker Honeywell, GE and Henkel.
Very recently Eva joined Moseeker , a leading AI powered HR Tech Company based on Wechat recruitment, as CHO and partner.
Before that, Eva worked for Honeywell for 17 years with various HR executive roles i.e. China country HR head, APAC HR head for Security Group, etc. Eva and her team are responsible to provide competitive talent and organization strategy with strong business acumen, to actively build up talent pipelines to support business development and to drive Honeywell’s overall growth and sustainable success in China & APAC.

Lorraine Wang has over 15 years’ experience in various HR functions. Before joining Tricor, Lorraine was holding a dual role as Director of HR and China Regional Director of Learning and Development in Langham Hospitality Group. She has participated and led several new hotel openings and set up the HR system and P&P. Lorraine has possessed a sound professional knowledge and solid practical experience, especially in culture driven and talent development. She has initiated several programs, including but not limited to recruitment related activities, succession planning, and management training programs.
