The afternoon comprises of a series of workshops with practical training and guidance to support professionals in progressing onward and upward.  Workshops will be held concurrently starting at 13:30 and again at 15:15 on a range of topics, attendees are encouraged to select one workshop to attend in each segment.  
WORKSHOPS I (13:30 – 14:45)
 
1A. Building Powerful Executive Presence

At this workshop, Lucy and Shirley will share with you the importance of EPQ and how to build your executive presence to reflect the AUTHENTIC, CONFIDENT YOU. Through an interactive workshop and sharing of examples and case studies, they will explain the DOs and DON’Ts for powerful body language, energy, etiquette, etc. in both social & professional settings.

A TED talk is designed to spread ideas in the form of short, powerful talks by offering “engaging, charismatic speakers whose talks expose new ideas that are supported by concrete evidence and are relevant to a broad, international audience."  Mary Rezek is experienced at creating TED style talks by coaching to agitate and assist, so the iterative creative process flows to 1 single idea worth spreading. The focus is on achieving something – identifying the call to action, tying together a concept through a red thread, accessing internal beliefs or creating an emotional and authentic audience connection
 
1D. Managing Across Cultures: From China CEO Onwards

The China CEO must implement headquarter’s strategy, operational guidelines and human resource policies in China while observing local culture and sometimes changing local process to conform with international best practices. In the meantime, managing well with headquarter’s business culture is also a key for the best practice. This workshop will look at obstacles and how to find the best solutions.

2B. Resilience: Physical Vitality and Performance

The Resilience Institute focuses on developing managers for “Sustainable Leadership” — a style of leading and managing that can be maintained throughout a career with regard to client management, team leadership and taking care of oneself in order to stay up to the task of being productive in a fast moving and stressful environment like the one in China.  Our workshop will specifically focus on two areas from our curriculum: developing physical vitality and a performance mindset.
 
2C. Building Trust to Support Superior Collaboration
