Women's sports have undoubtedly risen in popularity, but disparity in terms of revenue, media coverage, and representation at all levels in the sports industry, among others, remains when compared with men's sports. To hear directly from leading women in the sports industry about how to change the paradigm and inspire women and girls, AmCham Shanghai's Sports & Entertainment Committee and Women's Executive Network are pleased to invite you to our Women in Sports event taking place on Tuesday, October 24, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, in the AmCham Shanghai Conference Room.

The presentations will put the spotlight on female leadership in sports, putting diversity and inclusion into action, the topic of sports sponsorship and integrity in the commercialization of women's sports, and how to empower girls through sports. Through these topics, our distinguished speakers will reveal how they overcame challenges, discuss how we can improve diversity and inclusion at all levels of the sports industry, address factors that prevent girls from participating in sports, and weigh in on how we can encourage women to take on leading roles in the industry.

Join us as we celebrate women in leadership roles in the sports industry, bring to light how we can bring girls empowerment and independence to shatter the glass ceiling, and learn ways in which we can challenge the obstacles we face in women's sports.
