Edison Lee has 30 years of experience in investment research. He started his sell-side equity research career with CLSA in 1997 with a focus on the Asian telecommunications sector. His career has spanned from 2G to 5G, and he has been involved in the IPO of all three Chinese telecommunications operators. He has developed a deep understanding of cellular technology, all the way from 2G to currently 5G. He had been ranked among the top three equity analysts in Asia for the telecommunications industry by Institutional Investors, AsiaMoney and Greenwich during the 1990s and early 2000s. Edison retired in 2006 to spend time with his family, but came back to the industry in 2016 to join Jefferies. He was the first analyst to point out the potential geopolitical conflict in 5G in his report “The Geopolitics of 5G and IoT” published in 2017. At Jefferies, he is in charge of research in China telecommunications, technology and software companies.

Rudy is a leading expert on M&A transactions within the technology sector. As the founder of Woodside Capital, he focuses on computer vision and imaging companies within the autotech, security, and consumer electronics sectors.

Prior to Woodside Capital Partners, Rudy was the founding CEO of the MIT Media Lab Europe, a joint venture between MIT and the Irish government. Over the past 25 years, he founded five technology companies in the U.S., ran a European public company, and served as a senior executive for two global 500 companies. He is an effective, results-oriented professional with a proven track record in strategic planning, change management, and corporate development.

In addition to his work with Woodside Capital, Rudy serves on the board of Seeing Machines plc (AIM:SEE). Rudy has a BSc and MSc from Yale University and a PhD from Cambridge University.

Bill Russo is the Shanghai-based founder and CEO of Automobility Limited, a strategy and investment advisory firm helping its clients to create the future of mobility. His over 35 years of experience include 15 years as an automotive executive in China and Asia and nearly 12 years in the electronics and information technology industries. He has worked as an advisor and consultant for numerous multinational and local Chinese firms in the formulation and implementation of their global market and product strategies. Bill is also currently serving as the chair of the Automotive Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. In his current role, Bill advises startups, corporations and investors on how to maximize their participation in China’s Automobility Revolution. Bill was previously the regional head of Chrysler in North East Asia.
