As China continues to dominate global supply chains—controlling 70% of rare earth processing capacity—its recent export restrictions and strategic stockpiling have intensified global concerns over access to essential materials for clean energy, defense, and high-tech manufacturing.

In this session, our guest speaker Anna Tucker Ashton, Founder of Ashton Analytics, will provide an in-depth policy briefing on recent developments in US-China negotiations surrounding the sourcing, trade, and geopolitical leverage of critical minerals and rare metals. This timely event will explore how the US is responding with policy shifts, international alliances, and domestic investments to reduce dependency, mitigate supply chain disruptions, and secure long-term resource resilience in an increasingly competitive global landscape.
