This new environment can be especially confusing for people living overseas who receive guidance from multiple sources. In these moments, it may be useful to turn to the scientists and evidence-based resources that can shed light on the potential course of the pandemic and the most useful measures to contain and control it.
AmCham Shanghai is pleased to present a webinar briefing from renowned COVID-19 expert Dr. William Haseltine at 8:00-9:00 AM (Shanghai time) on August 24. Dr. Haseltine is Chair and President of ACCESS Health International and listed by Time Magazine as one of the world's 25 most influential businesspeople in 2001 and one of the 100 most influential leaders in biotechnology by Scientific American in 2015. He will provide a briefing on the new COVID variants and how they impact mitigation measures including vaccines, masks, and quarantines. The webinar also includes a Q&A session with Dr. Haseltine.
