Since 2004, our AmCham Ball has donated over RMB 11 million to 30 charities. Proceeds from the 2019 AmCham Ball will be donated to Teach Future China for its Online Arts and Music Classroom Project. AmCham Shanghai members and friends can contribute in many ways including sponsorship, purchasing ball tickets, and participating in our onsite auction.
自2004年以来，AmCham Ball 已向30家慈善组织捐助累计超过1100万元人民币。今年的活动善款将会捐赠给为中国而教(Teach Future China)以支援他们的艺术音乐在线教室项目。在此希望广大的会员及朋友们加入我们的行列，通过赞助、门票销售及现场竞拍的方式支持为中国而教，支持本地慈善事业的可持续发展。
Teach Future China, co-founded by the UNESCO International Research and Training Centre for Rural Education in 2008, is a non-profit organization granted by charity foundations, companies and personal donations. In May 2014, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs approved TFC's NGO registration.
Teach Future China organizes capable college students to teach arts and music through an online platform, aiming to provide online arts and music classes for rural schools in China. This project helps offer affordable classes and encourages college students to get involved and to understand the needs of rural schools in China without travelling.
为中国而教（英文名称Teach Future China）成立于2008年，与联合国教科文组织国际农村教育研究与培训中心合作成立。 2014年5月，在北京市民政局注册成为民办非企业单位，名为"北京为华而教公益发展中心"。
经过多年在农村一线教育的积累和实践，形成"两条腿走路"的战略模式。为中国而教通过志愿者教师项目来弥补乡村学校教师数量的短缺，同时通过支持返回农村基层任教的优秀师范生完成新教师成长，来培养理解中国农村的未来教育家和促进教育公平的领导者，共同推动中国儿童教育事业公平健康的发展。
