Coronavirus has changed everything. It became a worldwide pandemic, and with any crisis, there is a culture of memes that have developed. A meme is hard to describe because it can take many different shapes and forms. It can be a joke, a cartoon, a GIF, a photo with stupid captions, a short video that someone on the internet created, or a really bad ideaโ€ฆ but they all have one thing in common, and that is a deep reflection of culture and humanity. It is usually tied to a compelling insight into the human condition.

We will show some of the funniest memes that have been created over the last few months, and some of the most offensive and politically incorrect ones too. We are not trying to make light of the pandemic and its effect on humanity. The goal is to make people reflect on the life-changing impact of the coronavirus in a way that makes you laugh while allowing you to learn a bit about yourself and cultures from around the world.

We promise to make you laugh, make you cry, and make you hate us. But after what has happened, we feel this is the best way to cope and move forward.

This COVID-19 Meme Show will be hosted by Paul Lin (Chair of the Marketing Committee), John D. Van Fleet (Chair of the Education Committee), and David Allgaier (Chair of the Tax Committee).
