Karen previously worked at the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai for 7 years starting in 2005, during which she formulated, implemented, and perfected business plans for expanding membership, services, sponsorship, advertising, and publications. She also managed all AmCham Shanghai member services and member engagement plans, including the formulation and implementation of new initiatives to better serve members and promote business development.
Before returning to AmCham Shanghai in 2019, Karen held leadership roles at the Worldwide ERC and The Conference Board, where she served as the Asia Pacific Managing Director and China Economics and Business Center leader, respectively. Her in-depth understanding of the Chamber of Commerce and her involvement in various fields make her a valuable asset to the organization, helping to make AmCham Shanghai more perfect and systematic in the fields of member management and business development.
Karen received her degree from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
