Studio 188 is the definition of "party music" as far as Shanghai music lovers are concerned. 2026 celebrates the bands 22nd year on the China music scene having entertained thousands with it's big sound, big energy, and turbo charged line up of international musicians.

Playing anthem rock, grooving disco & soul, Latin gypsy jazz, 80's classics, 188 as the 'fans' know them deliver nonstop fun fun, fun!

Founded by lead vocalist El Ray in 2004, the band features: Loice-drums, Shun-Bass, Manny-Tenor Sax, Macleen-guitar, Byron-Keyboards, Nik-Baritone & Alto Sax, Marina-Lead Vocals, and Yi Jun-Trumpet. And Special Guest star Asha on lead vocals.
