Ron Cai, Senior Cousnel of Zhong Lun Law Firm, has more than 34 years of legal experience assisting clients in U.S.-China business projects. He handles international mergers & acquisitions, general business and corporate law for multinational companies in China, international business transactions, dispute resolution. He is an Executive Committee Member of the International Bar Association (IBA) Communications Law Committee. Ron is familiar with a wide range of industries, including, AI, cloud computing, internet of things, hardware and software, e-commerce, digital media and entertainment, online games, healthcare, high-speed train, renewable energy and other advanced manufacturing industries. Ron speaks and writes frequently on U.S.-Chinese business issues. Ron is also an arbitrator of China’s three major international trade arbitration commissions. Ron Cai has been an active member of AmCham Shanghai, and was the co-chair of its legal committee.

Cheng Wang is the General Counsel of Express (Hangzhou) Technology Company Limited, a joint venture of American Express that was licensed by the People’s Bank of China as the first foreign-owned bankcard clearing and settlement institution in China. As a member of the senior management team of the joint venture, Cheng heads the Legal and Compliance Department of Express Company and oversees legal, compliance and regulatory matters in its business operations. Prior to joining American Express, Cheng was the Head of Legal for Greater China of a top-tier international investment bank. Cheng is admitted to the bar of the State of New York and qualified as a lawyer in China. He is currently the chair of the In-House Counsel Subcommittee of the AmCham Shanghai Legal Committee and a member of the Special Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association.
