As global supply chains restructure and China's labor regulations continue to evolve, American companies in China are facing new challenges in HR management and internal compliance. To help member companies navigate the latest regulatory and judicial developments, The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai will co-host a Labor and Employment Law Seminar with Dentons China on July 10, from 14:00-17:00, at the Chamber Conference Room. This seminar will focus on the newly issued Judicial Interpretation (II) of Labor Dispute Cases and Judicial Interpretation (II) on Criminal Cases of Corruption and Bribery of the People's Republic of China, while addressing practical issues commonly encountered by technology companies, multinational corporations, and R&D-driven enterprises. Topics will include non-compete and trade secret protection, employee misconduct investigations, disciplinary actions and termination procedures, post-employment risk management, and cross-functional compliance coordination. The seminar aims to assist companies in building a modern employment compliance framework that balances business needs, talent management, and legal risk control.
