Majiabang Health Food Town has been added to the list of characteristic towns in Zhejiang Province, where more than 10 high-end companies such as Mars (USA), Abbott (USA), Hormel (USA), Molin (France), Michelangelo (Italy), BreadTalk (Singapore), Kapal Api (Indonesia), and Xinzhiwei (Germany) have set up facilities. Thus, it has become a new hub for the high-end food industry in Yangtze River Delta.In addition, guest speakers from Hormel and JLL will showcase their stories in the industrial park.

The Jiaxing Economic and Technological Development Zone (JXEDZ) was established in August, 1992 and became a national-level EDZ in March, 2010. JXEDZ has accommodated more than 630 foreign-funded enterprises and formed 3 leading industries including high-end food processing, auto parts, equipment manufacturing. JXEDZ ranks No.17 in the evaluation on comprehensive development of 219 national-level development zones and No.9 in the evaluation on attracting foreign investment. It ranks the second for five consecutive years in the evaluation of 21 national-level development zones in Zhejiang Province.

嘉兴经济技术开发区位于嘉兴市的主城区，是一个典型的城市型开发区，创建于1992年8月，2010年3月升级为国家级经济技术开发区。目前，开发区、国际商务区全区规划控制面积已达110平方公里。截至目前，已引进630多家外商投资企业，已形成了高端食品加工、汽车零部件、装备制造三大主导产业。在2017年全国219家国家级经济技术开发区中，嘉兴经济技术开发区综合排名第17位，利用外资排名第9名；在全省21个国家级开发区综合考评中连续五年名列第二。
