He is specialized in ESG strategy, sustainable value chain management, responsible investment, ESG due diligence, Net zero transition, ESG, and Carbon digital solution, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and NGO cooperation. He leads the net zero and energy transition services in Accenture Greater China.

    Daniel is Head of R&D for Kraft Heinz China, with over 16 years of experience in the FMCG R&D function. Kraft Heinz is a world-leading Food & Beverage company, which focuses on providing high-quality sauces/condiments/baby foods/easy meals across the globe. The famous Kraft, Heinz, Oscar Mayer, and Master brands are from the company. Daniel is leading the Research and Development function in Kraft Heinz China, which will be focusing on Product Innovation/Technology Deep Diving/ESG calendar development etc. Before Kraft Heinz, Daniel had been working for Unilever for 11 years where he holds different roles in regional/global teams for R&D functions, mainly in the personal care category. Daniel holds a strong knowledge of product design/food safety/nutrition/packaging design/project management.

    Just is the Chief Tomato Officer of FoodVentures China and has been developing sustainable agriculture projects in China since 2018.

    As head of a Dutch greenhouse technology company in Beijing and later a Dutch greenhouse operating company in Shanghai, he has been both developing and operating CEA projects of all sorts nationwide, from Shanghai to Xinjiang and from Beijing to Guangxi. Most recently been feeding Shanghai during lockdown with fresh & tasty tomatoes, known under the consumer brand VitaBite.

    With a strong belief that we have the solutions to feeding global cities sustainably with fresh and safe food, FoodVentures is empowering local growers with the much-needed technology, tools, and experience to solve local food problems at its core.

While his personal focus is on strategy and corporate development, he also gained broad operational experience in managing production, sales, procurement, and finance. Building on his international education at WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management, IMD Lausanne, J.L. Kellog Graduate School Chicago, and ESC Lyon, he successfully founded and managed several companies in Europe, Asia, and the US.
     
    Based on this experience, he founded NOIX AG, a technology-driven Protein 2.0 company with a focus on the Asian market.
