Event Summary

AmCham's Ethics & Compliance and Marketing & Media Committees will join forces to present Digital Acceleration and Marketing – Whose Data is it Anyway? In this event we will explore how brands and businesses collect personal data and whether they are at risk of over-collection. While it's tempting to gather as much as you can, how much do you actually need? With the second draft of the Personal Information Protection Law released, and on track to be passed this year, marketing professionals need to be proactive in adapting their techniques to work within an evolving legal framework. What is your company doing to ensure the collection is lawful and that adequate security measures are in place to protect consumer data? In the concluding panel discussion, experts will discuss best practices in data collection that protect your customers and your brand. We hope you'll join us for interdisciplinary coverage of this timely topic.
