AmCham Shanghai's Real Estate & Construction Committee invites you to a special tour to Columbia Circle, a new urban renovation project located at No. 1262, Yan'an West Road.
Columbia Circle was originally the social hub for Shanghai's American community during the 1920s to 30s. It used to house the Navy Club, the Columbia Country Club and a mansion built for Sun Ke, the son of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, by Hungarian architect Lazlo Hudec. After the end of World War II, it contained a biological institute and was left vacant for a few years, before Vanke Group rented it in 2016 and started major renovations to turn it into a hub for F&B and other creative shops.
This tour provides exclusive access to the inside of Columbia Country Club and Navy Club as well as a thorough discussion with key designers of the project. The event will conclude with a mixer at INKWOOD, an artsy bar at Columbia Circle.
