Introduction

Join us for AmCham Shanghai's 2021 Education Fair on April 30, 2021. This event will gather education organizations that provide services and programming for students in kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school students.


The fair will be an opportunity for parents to meet school administrators and staff from some of Shanghai's top international schools and to learn about the many programs and resources available to students. Attendees will also have the chance to join roundtables where they will be able to learn more about specific academic issues that may concern their child.


Both Chinese and international students' parents are welcomed.

Prior to her current position, Liz served as the Lower School Principal for SCIS-Pudong. She also has experience as an Elementary Assistant Principal, PYP Coordinator, and Elementary classroom teacher. Liz is a member of the Advisory Board for Teacher Horizons and has presented at various conferences on women in leadership, as well as other topics primarily related to curriculum, instruction, and assessment. She is the founder of #RaiseHerUp Shanghai, a networking event targeted at providing educators in Shanghai with an opportunity to expand their personal and professional support network.     Coach Daryl Louis is the Head Debating Coach at Red Arc Education Group – he has been working across the Greater China area since 2013 and has been involved with competitive debating as one of the world’s most decorated speakers and adjudicators for the last 17 years. He is serving as China’s Chief Adjudicator for the national universities debating tournament
    for the year 2021 and was a chief judge for All of Asia (2013), Northeast Asia (2014), and Australia (2015). Other notable accolades include having been appointed as a World Championship Finals Series adjudicator and winning the
    most recent Shanghai International Debating Championship in 2019 over a competitive field including top alumnus speakers from the University of Cambridge.

    Coach Daryl Louis individually holds the China middle school
    parliamentary debating record for wins and finals appearances – seeing 15 teams appearing in debating tournaments across three continents in an unbroken streak during the last pre-pandemic competitive season 2018-2019. Most of his student
    debaters now attend the top universities and high schools around the world including Yale, Princeton, Cambridge, Oxford, Eton College, Westminster School, Choate Rosemary Hall, and the Shanghai American School. He focuses primarily on

    Million is Singaporean with more than two decades of education experience. She is the founder of Singapore International Centre for Early Childhood (ICEC) and Postkid.com E-learning. Million has managed educational programs at more than 400 kindergartens, primary and secondary schools in Singapore and China. She was also the International Principal of Wuxi International School, Cixi International Kindergarten Group-International Division, and WICC Wuxi Kindergarten.

    She is currently the Managing Director of Dipont (Shanghai) Education Technology Co Ltd and the creator of EnSEEED, a blended education ecosystem that ensures success in education engagement and development for the K-5 international school scene.

    Besides her passion for early-child education, she is also an award-winning musician and music producer for both Warner and Universal Music. She has composed theme songs for Singapore Media Media and Singapore Youth Olympic Games.

    Million's parents, Hood Inn and Siok Cheng, are both primary school Teachers. Million has a younger sister, Trillion, a daughter, and two sons. Tansy is a lawyer in Singapore, Tiernan works at PWC and Tierney is at the University of Cambridge. All are strong swimmers, proficient in music, and have black belts in martial arts.

    Million's is a firm believer in the importance of cultivating and developing all of Howard Gardner's multi-intelligences early in a child's education. She strives to help every student discover what makes them unique and special.
