China's technology landscape has grown rapidly. Today China is a leader in both tech development and adoption. AmCham Shanghai will host our Annual Tech & Innovation Conference on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm to help members understand tech adoption trends in China, geopolitical conflicts related to the tech sector, and China's data governance framework.

The forum will bring together thought leaders, industry leaders, and technology experts to discuss how cloud computing, IoT, edge computing, and the metaverse will impact businesses operating in China. We will explore how companies can develop their technology localization strategy, how they can deploy digital technology to achieve sustainable goals, and navigate cybersecurity and data compliance requirements.

Topics to be discussed:

· Localizing enterprise cloud strategy to fit the needs in the Chinese market

· Digital technologies' contribution to sustainability goals by making it possible to track, analyze, and optimize processes

· Metaverse's impact on consumer and industrial markets and internal company operations today

· Remaining secure and compliant as MNCs migrate their businesses to the cloud in China

· Managing the business impact of US technology sanctions and semiconductor policy

There will be a cocktail reception at the end of the event.
