On April 27, 2016, the Chinese government released the 2016-2020 Development Plan of Robot Industry that includes six policies supporting intelligent manufacturing in the area of taxation, resource integration, fiscal increase, market environment and construction of talents. Following the release, Wujin National Hi-Tech Zone developed a mature robot manufacturing industrial chain due to favorable policies and customized services. Last year, 9,500 kinds of robots were produced in the zone, including 3D printing robots, medical rehabilitation robots and multi-purpose industrial robots.
