Joining us to share their insights and keynote presentations will be Steven N. Robinson, Partner, Hogan Lovells (Beijing), speaking on current developments in higher education and foreign involved education in China, as well as William Lu, Founder & Chairman, ForNGO (Shanghai) and Partner, DLF Law Firm, speaking on how the new Overseas NGO Management Law and the amendment to the Law of Promoting Privately Run Schools is affecting foreign higher education activity in China.

    William Lu

    Partner at DLF Law Firm

    William Lu is a partner at DLF Law Firm, Shanghai. He also concurrently serves as board chairman of Legal Center for NGO (ForNGO), which he co-founded as a platform to provide professional legal services for NGOs, conduct capacity building seminars, and publish academic research on laws regulating NGOs in China.

    His publications include: “Law Manual for NGOs in China,” “Guidelines on NGO Labor Law and Risk Control,” and “Best Practice of Internal Governance of NGOs in China.” William has been practicing since 2002 and received his LLB from Fudan University and his LLB from East China University of Political Science & Law.
