AmCham Shanghai and Ningbo Municipal People’s Government invites you to join the China (Ningbo) Remanufacturing Industry International Cooperation Forum that will take place on June 8 at 13:30 - 17:00 at Ningbo Marriott Hotel (No.188, Heyi Road, Haishu District, Ningbo). The Forum aims to provide insight into market growth in China’s remanufacturing industry, and related policy trends of its development, as well as current challenges and opportunities in China. Besides that, there is an optional tour on June 9 for site visit to Geely–Volvo China Design and Test Center.

Remanufacturing has a "crucial role" to play in every large-scale heavy industry business approach. Some of the benefits of remanufacturing include:

• Conservation of materials (of increasing importance as raw materials become scarcer and more expensive)
• Reduced energy consumption during manufacturing
• Reduced waste (and associated disposal costs)
• Lower price for comparable quality

• This half day forum and optional tour are free of charge, but seats are limited and RSVP is required.

• The optional tour on June 9 only accepts delegates who join the forum on June 8.
• Local transportation will be provided for the June 9 optional tour, as well as shuttle service back to Shanghai on June 9th for delegates who participate in the tour.
• All other transportation and hotel accommodation on June 8 should be arranged by delegates at your own expense.
