AmCham Shanghai’s Financial Services Committee and Technology Committee invites members to join a luncheon presentation and panel discussion on Investing in Chinese Technology Firms- Practitioner’s Perspective on Friday, May 26 from 12:00 – 13:30 at the AmCham Shanghai Conference Centre.

China increasingly leads the innovation space across a wide spectrum of technologies including mobile payments, artificial intelligence, bio-tech, etc. But not every innovation succeeds in the market. How should an investment prospect be evaluated? What risks are unique to the Chinese environment? Where in the capital structure should an investor participate in?

Please join us for a discussion on these issues and more. Joe Chang, Partner at Eight Roads will start off the event by discussing an emerging trend in the rise of innovative Chinese IT ventures. He will be joined by Brett Krause, Managing Partner at PurpleSky Capital and Dave Jones, President at SPD Silicon Valley Bank who will provide practitioner-rich perspectives. This is an event not to be missed!
