Recently, we have seen a rising trend among globally-focused enterprises in China hiring and promoting more mainland-born executives to key leadership positions. This phenomenon is hardly new as multinational companies and mainland companies with a global footprint are seeking to be more localized as well as reducing HR costs. However, due to cultural differences, some mainland-born executives are perceived by Westerners as being less vocal and lacking strong leadership skills, which results in those local executives hitting the so called "Bamboo Ceiling".

In this information session, Jeff Tan, a communication and coaching expert and ILE’s guest speaker, and André Gisiger, the President from ILE, are going to share how innovative HR can help companies break the "Bamboo Ceiling", once and for all, and get them ready to become the next generation of global leaders.
