In early March, the General Administration of Customs (海关总署) announced that the “Nation-wide Customs Clearance Integration Regime” (全国通关一体化改革) will officially take effect on April 1st. This reform will allow Risk Control Center and Taxation Collection Center to take over key customs services and supervision of different customs offices. By unifying key customs responsibilities into these national level centers, the government hopes to reduce clearance time and costs.

AmCham Shanghai Trade Facilitation Taskforce (TFT) is pleased to present a briefing by Mr. Wenlei Shen (沈文磊), the Section Chief of the new Customs Taxation Collection Center (税管中心) on this reform on Monday, April 10th from 9:30am to 11:30am at the AmCham Shanghai Office. With years of experience in the Customs, Mr. Shen was highly involved in the formulation of this new reform project.
