Come for a topical discussion on best practices to maintain work life balance and versatility in life facilitated by Helen Zhang, Administrative Director and CEO Office Asia Pacific, Aleris (Zhenjiang).

Helen has worked for Aleris, an aluminum giant for many years. She has juggled work and family life, as well as a daily commute between the Zhenjiang factory and her home in Nanjing. Helen will share her own insights and will then facilitate an open discussion on how women leaders can move forward from the challenges they face at home, work, professionally and personally.

About the Forum
The Nanjing International Women’s Leadership Forum (NIWLF) offers senior female executives in the international business community opportunities to connect with peers in the Nanjing community and broaden business experience across industries and cultures. NIWLF organizes regular events on a monthly basis and is jointly organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Nanjing, German Chamber of Commerce in China and American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai Nanjing Center.

    Helen is responsible for the overall administrative management in Aleris Zhenjiang. She is also responsible for the management of Aleris’ Asia & Pacific CEO office, for both internal and public areas. In addition, Helen also oversees the HRBP business, serves as an internal and external communication channel within the regional and global Aleris organization, and is a key member of the local management team. Beyond her operational function, Helen was a core member in the building, opening, start-up and ramp-up of the high-end Aircraft Plate Plant (0.5Billion USD Investment) in Zhenjiang since from the end of 2011. Before joining Aleris, Helen had working experience in Siemens and started as an engineer in research & development. Helen holds a dual bachelor’s degree from Tong Ji University and speaks Mandarin, German and English.
