As China continues to globalize, many companies are relying on local teams to develop business in an economy that is slowing and becoming more competitive. The ability to attract, motivate and retain top talent is becoming a frontline battlefield for many organizations. The outcome of this battle for high-caliber talent will be a key factor in determining a company’s success in the coming 5 years.     Andre GISIGER

    Andre Gisiger is President & Co-founder of International Learning Enterprises. Andre hails from Switzerland. He has extensive experience in management consulting and education and has worked in the United States, Europe and China. Before co-founding ILE, he worked for PwC, McKinsey, AIG, and English First. He has held roles in consulting, operations, business development and product development and has a deep understanding of the international business practices and cross-cultural communication. Andre is multi-lingual; he speaks English, French, German, Swedish and some Chinese.
    Andre received an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Econometrics from the University of California, Berkeley.

    Vicky is currently the Organization & Talent Development Leader at GE Greater China, providing strategic & tactical leadership for the integrated culture, organization & talent development actions to support business and talent growth in the region.

    Vicky joined GE in 2006 on the HR Leadership Program (HRLP) after graduating with an MBA from the University of California Los Angeles. She also holds a BS in Public Finance from National Chengchi University in Taiwan.

    Before joining GE, she was a senior consultant in tax compliance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers. During the Program, she completed assignments in client support, compensation analysis, and organization development at GE Money. After graduating from HRLP, she has served as the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) Program Manager in Asia, an HR manager at Global Business Services (GBS), and HR Business Partner for GE Transportation business in Greater China, Korea, & ASEAN.

    Most recently in 2014, Vicky served as the Global Program Manager for GE’s HRLP and is part of the Corporate HR4HR team. Her professional experience has moved her to work locations including Fairfield CT USA, Mainland China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan. She is now based in Shanghai China.

    Colin Wong is the Head of Industrial Practice Greater China for Odgers Berndtson, based in Shanghai. He specializes in senior executive search in Manufacturing, Automotives and Infrastructure across Greater China. Before moving to Shanghai in 2014, he was based in Hong Kong for 11 years including the last five years with Odgers Berndtson.

    Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson, he worked for another international executive search firm in Hong Kong. Earlier in his career he was an entrepreneur in electronic manufacturing services in South China, where he set up sourcing offices and manufacturing facilities in China.

    Colin grew up and studied in the UK, and holds a BSc in Technology & Management from the University of Bradford, UK.
