About Guangzhou:

Guangzhou is the capital city of Guangdong Province, China's No.1 province in terms of GDP. It is an important central city, international trade center and comprehensive transportation hub in China. It is also a central city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), the Pan-Pearl River Delta Economic Zone, and a hub city of the Belt and Road Initiative. Guangzhou is in southern China, on the lower reaches of the Pearl River and the edge of the South China Sea. It has a GDP of 2501.911 billion yuan in 2020. About Nansha:

Guangzhou Nansha is in the geographic center of the GBA. It is the only access channel for Guangzhou to the sea and an important hub connecting the city clusters on both sides of the Pearl River Estuary and Hong Kong and Macao. Nansha New Area was established in 2015. It is a new national zone, a pilot FTZ and the only city sub-center in Guangzhou. Nansha is one of the key development areas of the GBA. Its policies not only cover all the inclusive policies of the GBA, but also have its own special preferential policies. In June 2022, the State Council issued the "Overall Plan for Guangzhou Nansha to Deepen Comprehensive Cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao", positioning Nansha as a "major strategic platform based in the GBA, cooperating with Hong Kong and Macao, and facing the world".

In the future, Guangdong and Hong Kong will establish a "Guangdong-Hong Kong Deep Cooperation Zone" in Nansha, and the industrial development will focus on manufacturing, technology research and development, international education and training, finance, medicine, leisure tourism and health services, logistics and other industries.

广州南沙，地处粤港澳大湾区地理中心区位，是广州市唯一的出海通道，也是连接珠江口两岸城市群和港澳地区的重要枢纽性节点。南沙新区成立于2015年，是国家新区、自贸试验区和广州唯一的城市副中心。南沙是大湾区的重点发展区域之一，其政策不仅涵盖大湾区所有的普惠性政策，更有属于自己的特殊优惠性政策。2022年6月国务院发布《广州南沙深化面向世界的粤港澳全面合作总体方案》，将南沙定位为 "立足湾区，协同港澳，面向世界的重大战略性平台" 。

未来，广东与香港将在南沙建立 "粤港深度合作区"，产业发展将围绕制造、科技研发、国际教育培训、金融、医药、休闲旅游及健康服务、物流等产业。
