AmCham Shanghai Suzhou Center cordially, invites you to our Win in China University Tour on May 13, 13:30-16:00 at Xi'an Jiaotong Liverpool University (IBSS). Roberto Dona, Professor of Strategic Management and Organizations will deliver speech on corporate strategy planning and how to align top management's strategic priorities with local and functional needs, which will cover:

  • Foundations of corporate strategy planning
  • How to narrow down your leaders' strategy (HQ & senior mgmt.) into practice: Methodology, challenge & options
  • Case Analysis

After the presentation, there will be a university tour with introductions, candidates may stay longer based on their willingness.



The 'Win in China' program is a series of learning & development courses for mid-level corporate managers in the manufacturing industry.

    Associate Dean for Corporate Engagement and Executive Education at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University International Business School Suzhou

    Roberto Donà is an academic and a business practitioner with a long experience in China. He is a Professor of Practice in Management at IBSS, the business school of Xi’An Jiaotong Liverpool University in Suzhou, where he serves also a director of the Master of Science in Management.

    He is also Honorary Professor at School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship of University of Chinese Academy of Science and Adjunct Professor at MIP Politecnico di Milano Graduate School of Business

    Previously he has been a faculty member of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Bocconi University since 1990, Visiting Scholar (1996) and Visiting Professor (1998) at Stern School of Business (New York University) and Visiting Professor, Fudan University School of Management (2008-2010).

    Roberto has a strong international exposure having worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Argentina, USA and China. His fields of interested are on Internationalization and Innovation Processes in Asia and their managerial implications.

    Since the beginning of his career he worked also as management consultant for both domestic and international companies serving in several board positions.

    He is also the First President of the Association of the Italian Scholars in China (AAIIC).
