Bolstered by a rapidly growing financial and fintech sector, Hangzhou has become one of the most dynamic markets in China offering opportunities for many foreign companies. AmCham Shanghai's Hangzhou Center in cooperation with the Zhejiang Provincial CCPIT has organized a one-day program for member companies focused on Fintech on September 10. The trip includes a tour of Zhejiang Lab and another fintech company in which participants can meet with senior executives and learn about their business strategies and use of Fintech to accelerate growth. Following the tour, participants will have an informal lunch with Chinese Fintech companies and attend a seminar focused on financial reform and Fintech. The seminar will be hosted by Zhejiang Provincial CCPIT Chairman Chen Zongyao and include presentations by the Zhejiang People's Bank of China, Zhejiang Provincial Digital Economics Bureau, Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce. Fintech experts from American companies will also attend the event and provide an overview of how U.S. companies view the Fintech market. The seminar will end with an informal exchange of views.
The one-day program provides an excellent opportunity for participants to learn more about the growing Fintech sector and to interact with influential players in the Zhejiang government and business community. The cost of the program includes transportation costs in Hangzhou and all meals. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.
