Event Details

AmCham Shanghai's Automotive Committee invites you to our event on the Where to Next? Auto Outlook and Investment Strategies Emerging From COVID-19. This will be a live event with an online component for those unable to attend in person. Join us on April 29, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am to analyze the current crisis and how it is impacting the automotive industry.

Our industry insiders will will lead an analytical discussion on the impact of COVID-19 to China's automotive industry. In the short term, sales and production have decreased dramatically. For an industry that was already wrestling with a downturn this crisis will hurt automakers especially hard. However, there can be some optimism if we take a longer view. Success in 2020 will depend on a company's ability to pivot quickly and find opportunities in carefully chosen investments. Following the presentation, our panel will discuss where they see the industry going from here. Join us to evaluate the Q2 forecast according to the latest indicators.

Due to current restrictions on meeting size, physical space for the event is very limited. Availability will be given on a first come, first serve basis.
