Introduction
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training will allow participants to learn how to lead Lean Six Sigma projects in order to solve a problem and improve a process.
During Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training the participants will understand how to use DMAIC structure: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control. Using a "learning by doing" approach, LSS GB candidates will define a process with a problem at the very beginning of the training and improve the process in the end of training. The candidate will learn the basic statistics needed to analyze process data and the different tools such as Histogram, Pareto chart, Fishbone diagram, and Impact/Difficulty Matrix.
A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is a professional who is well educated in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. The person leads or supports improvement projects, typically as a part time role, 20% of the time. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt understands the phases of DMAIC, Six Sigma tools and standard principles of Lean.
What is Lean Six Sigma?
The Lean Six Sigma Program supports process-based organizations and improves the cost efficiency and profitability of companies. Lean Six Sigma provides a structure to help solve problems efficiently and effectively. The methodology helps practitioners eliminate inefficiencies from their working day. Lean Six Sigma prompts you to ask: Do we need it? Does it add value to the customer? Would our customer pay for it?
There are 5 levels of Lean Six Sigma:
- White โ Basic Lean Six Sigma awareness
- Yellow โ Problem solving expert
- Green โ Project Expert
- Black โ Project Leader
- Master Black Belt โ Process Excellence/Quality Manager
