
Born in Malaysia and educated in Hong Kong, Amber holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa Malaysia. Amber joined AIRINC in 2017 and began as a cost-of-living researcher. With her familiarity of AIRINC’s data collection process, she then moved to the Analysis and Delivery team to facilitate client data projects and production. In her current role as a Senior Client Engagement Manager, she has been serving clients across APAC and is the lead for clients in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Korea and Greater China. Prior to joining AIRINC, Amber worked at PwC’s China Corporate Tax, providing tax compliance and consulting services to companies in China and Hong Kong.

Avrom Goldberg has ultimate responsibility for both client engagement and service delivery throughout the Asia Pacific region for Weichert Workforce Mobility. In addition, he serves as advisor for the APAC region to the Weichert Advisory Services team. He is based in Hong Kong where he has lived since 2001.
Avrom has more than thirty years’ experience in the global mobility industry. During his career, he has held global or regional roles in the areas of supply chain management, business development, operations, consulting and general management.
He has been twice recognized by The Forum for Expatriate Management, having won their awards for “Outstanding Contribution to APAC Global Mobility” in 2016 and “APAC Global Mobility Professional of the Year” in 2012. He is also the recipient of multiple awards from Worldwide ERC, including a Meritorious Service Award, three Distinguished Service Awards and Worldwide ERC's highest honor, the President's Award.

Claire Yao joined Corning China (Shanghai) Regional Headquarters in Jan 2012. She has over 15 years of experience in mobility, including 10+ years as Mobility manager of Corning in APAC. She has facilitated many expansion projects and has designed local and regional policies for talent relocations. She became a certified GMS in 2012.
Claire’s work in Corning focuses on global, regional and local talent flows, including immigration and mobility compliance, linking mobility to talent acquisition and talent management. She has extensive experience on expatriation localization and expansion projects. Her past working experience on Japan and India Total Rewards also enables her to have in-depth knowledge on local policies and practices in Asia.
Her most recent studies focus on immigration and mobility guidance during COVID-19.

Irene Yu is a Tax Partner based in Deloitte Shanghai. She is leading Eastern China Global Employer Services (“GES”) practices, with more than 20 years of professional experience in tax and mobility areas.
Irene has led the delivery of services to a wide range of multinational and domestic companies covering industries including famous financial institutions, large life science/biotech companies, high technology companies, law firms, etc. She has extensive experience in managing large mobility engagements for both MNCs and China headquartered company and has provided wide scopes of services covering inbound/outbound international assignment structuring, individual income tax compliance and consulting, compensation and benefits structuring, global equity consulting, and foreign exchange consulting. She is also experienced in offering technical and practical support to the clients dealing with China tax authority inquiries on complicated tax issues.
Irene is the China equity practices leader. She has been leading China equity/rewards consulting services for many multinational companies and China domestic companies throughout a plan design to roll out. She is experienced in offering practical support for MNC clients on implementing their global equity plans in China, or helping high growth China domestic clients with their China or outbound equity strategies.
Being as a recognized China individual income tax, social security and equity subject expert, Irene is an active and sought-after speaker on leading industry forums, and a frequent commentator on various national medias.

Linda Zhang is Partner-in-Charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Shanghai office where she serves the recruitment needs of Global MNCs and local conglomerates for key management positions in the region. Linda is an accomplished Consultant with over 20 years of experience in Executive Search and Leadership Advisory, which has earned her a strong reputation among senior executives in the market. She has advised both MNCs and local Chinese companies on their leadership, organization and talent strategies, and placed hundreds of executives into important positions.
Linda is the first generation Executive Search Consultants in China. She has grown up with the industry and is quite versatile. Most of her experiences are focused on two key industries in China: Consumer and Industrial. With the dynamic and transboundary development of China market, Linda is able to leverage her broad experiences to serve clients best.
Earlier in her career, Linda has worked as a Management Consultant with Bain & Company in Shanghai, advising Fortune 500 companies on market entry and growth strategy, organization and human resources issues. She also worked as an Associate for the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Switzerland, managing the Forum’s relationship with the Chinese Government, business, academia and media. She started her career as a Business Analyst at the Investment Planning Department of China Eastern Airlines based in Shanghai.
Linda was born and raised in China. She earned her bachelor degree from University of International Business and Economics in Beijing and her MBA degree with honours (Beta Gamma Sigma) from the University of Chicago in US.

Maggie is responsible for managing the Global Mobility Program & Executive Compensation for Goodyear Asia Pacific region. She also leads the AP benefit programs for Goodyear.
Maggie has over 15 years of HR experiences in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management and Total Rewards. She has been with Goodyear for 17 years. Before joining Goodyear, she had a long career at Honeywell & U.S. Consulate Commercial Service.

Mandy Zhao has over 15 years’ experience in global mobility and international talent management.
8 years working experience in US enriched her global practice as well as localization of policy implementation. Her experience includes talent planning, mobility full cycle management, vendor management, HRIS for mobility etc.
Currently Mandy is working as L’Oreal North Asia and China Mobility Manager, focusing on innovated mobility solutions, global talent planning, mobility support, government consulting etc.
Mandy is certified GPHR and SPHR with a double master’s degree in human resources management and business Analytics.

Michelle currently leads the KPMG People Services practice in the Eastern and Central China region, and has over fifteen years of experience in providing global mobility solutions to clients in China and overseas.
Michelle has assisted multi-national clients across a broad spectrum of industries on immigration, personal income tax compliance and advisory services. In particular, she has experience in Australian, China and United States expatriation taxation, and has served on small, medium and large accounts during her career with KPMG to date.
Michelle and her team have assisted clients with successfully completing the tax and foreign exchange registrations of equity based plans in China since the introduction of the relevant regulations in China. She has also actively participated in various projects assisting clients with design, implement and roll-out of employee incentive plans, including equity based compensation plans.
Over the years, Michelle has undertaken speaking engagements at events held by the American Chamber of Commerce, Australian Chamber of Commerce, Canada Business Council and EU Chamber of Commerce to update their members on the latest regulatory developments and trends in Chinese individual income tax, as well as topics on remuneration packaging; equity based compensation structuring; and others. Michelle has also delivered lectures to students in the finance discipline of Fudan University on expatriation taxation.

Kevin Zhu is the Director of Deloitte Shanghai. He has 16 years of professional firm experience as well as industry experience in human resource and tax areas. Kevin was the Asia Pacific Mobility Compensation & Tax Manager of a Fortune 500 automobile company before he joined Deloitte.
Kevin has extensive project management experience in human resource management. He has led many corporate internal human resource projects when he worked for the automobile company. He also takes the role of project manager and drives many human resource project when serving many large multinational companies.
Kevin has led large engagements for many multinational companies as well as China domestic companies and has provided a wide scope of services covering compensation & benefits, individual income tax & social security as well as global mobility policy and process advisory. He has also provided human resource management training for many large multinational companies. Kevin has represented Deloitte to make presentations in many global and local forums and workshops. He is also the nominated speaker of the Deloitte Dbrief webcast of Asia Pacific.
