SHUTING QIU is a poetic feminist fashion brand centered around the concept of “garments as women’s armor and poetry.” It explores the intricate duality of contemporary femininity — where romance and strength coexist harmoniously.
Stylistically, the brand builds a bold visual identity through vivid color contrasts, abstract prints, and asymmetric silhouettes. Each collection unfolds like a poetic narrative, drawing inspiration from sources such as the vibrant palette of Dunhuang murals, modern reinterpretations of Ming Dynasty patterns, and the physical metaphors found in dance and literature. These elements are translated into designs that balance sculptural form with fluid movement. The brand excels at harmonizing contrasts — sharp tailored shoulders meet soft, intricate embroidery, while structured fabrics interplay with flowing silks — capturing the layered resilience and grace of femininity.
Integrating cultural heritage and social responsibility into its creative process, SHUTING QIU works closely with artisans in regions like Hangzhou and Xinjiang to preserve intangible cultural crafts, ensuring their vitality in contemporary fashion. More than a clothing label, SHUTING QIU stands as a statement of self-expression, cultural pride, and sustainable vision, inviting women around the world to embody their own narrative of strength and romance through style.
