Eric Zheng became the President of AmCham Shanghai in 2022. He has been involved in the Chamber for over 15 years as a member, committee leader, Board member, Board treasurer, Board secretary, and Board vice chair, and Board chair (2018 and 2019).
Eric brings a unique combination of private and public sector experiences to the presidency. He worked in management consulting with PwC in the U.S. and later served for the U.S. Department of Commerce as the principal commercial officer at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou. Eric had a long career with AIG in Greater China and held a series of positions that culminated in his service as CEO of AIG China. He then chaired the board of Heng An Standard Life Insurance Company.
In volunteer roles, Eric serves as the Greater China regional chair of the Committee of 100 and as a board director of Shanghai Make-A-Wish Charity Foundation. The Shanghai municipal government has granted Eric its Magnolia Gold Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the city. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Nicholas (Nick) Gray has been the ACS Chief at the U.S. Consulate General Shanghai since June 2023. He joined the Foreign Service in 2011 and has served overseas in Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Beijing, and Shanghai. Prior to working for the Department of State, Nick worked in the field of international development. He received his BA from Carroll College and his MA from Marquette University. Nick lives in Shanghai with his wife and two daughters.
Jeffrey Wilson is a counsel in JunHe’s labor and employment practice group and is based at the firm’s Shanghai office.
He has more than 20 years of experience advising employers in China. He received his JD and MA in Chinese studies from the University of Washington.
Peter Pierce is a senior global executive with more than thirty years of experience in general management, marketing, and sales. He has expertise in international education, retail and telecommunications.
Peter is currently, Director of Marketing and Advancement at Shanghai American School. He previously served as Director of Advancement at the American School in Japan. He has also held numerous positions at Baozun, Gap, and AT&T.
Peter also served on the Board of Trustees at Shanghai American School and the American School in Japan. Peter holds an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Chicago and a BA from Bates College.
Renee Gian is currently the Director of Admissions and Enrollment at Shanghai American School. With over 10 years of experience working in school admissions and more than 25 years working in international education, she has guided numerous families in navigating the complexities of international schooling and cultural adaptation. Renee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Canisius College and a Master of Arts in Leadership of International Schools (K-12) from the University of Northern Iowa.
Silvia Gong, a Global Mobility Expert with over 16 years in HR consulting, has spent 6+ years leading the Global Mobility Center of Excellence for a top automotive corporation. She specializes in policy design, optimization, and cross-functional project leadership, supporting workforce mobility across 18+ countries in APAC and EMEA.
Skilled in navigating immigration, tax, and payroll compliance, Silvia provides tailored training and consultations to associates and HR teams. As a speaker and panelist at global mobility events, she shares insights on industry trends and best practices.

Thomas is a Solutions Consultant for technology leader Equus Software, and newer offering Workia. Working across the APAC region and based in Australia, Thomas focuses on leveraging technology to enhance mobility programs.
Thomas joined Equus & Workia in 2018, in the Global Client Success team. His journey within the company includes leading the Solutions Team, where he spent over three years advising prospective clients on optimising technology and streamlining processes for maximum efficiency.
Avrom Goldberg has ultimate responsibility for both client engagement and service delivery throughout the Asia Pacific region for Weichert Workforce Mobility. In addition, he serves as advisor for the APAC region to the Weichert Advisory Services team. He is based in Hong Kong where he has lived since 2001.
Avrom has more than thirty years’ experience in the global mobility industry. During his career, he has held global or regional roles in the areas of supply chain management, business development, operations, consulting and general management.
He has been twice recognized by The Forum for Expatriate Management, having won their awards for “Outstanding Contribution to APAC Global Mobility” in 2016 and “APAC Global Mobility Professional of the Year” in 2012. He is also the recipient of multiple awards from Worldwide ERC, including a Meritorious Service Award, three Distinguished Service Awards and Worldwide ERC's highest honor, the President's Award.

Mandy Zhao has over 15 years’ experience in global mobility and international talent management.
8 years working experience in US enriched her global practice as well as localization of policy implementation. Her experience includes talent planning, mobility full cycle management, vendor management, HRIS for mobility etc.
Currently Mandy is working as L’Oreal North Asia and China Mobility Manager, focusing on innovated mobility solutions, global talent planning, mobility support, government consulting etc.
Mandy is certified GPHR and SPHR with a double master’s degree in human resources management and business Analytics.
Born in Malaysia and educated in Hong Kong, Amber holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of Hong Kong. She is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Bahasa Malaysia. Amber joined AIRINC in 2017 and began as a cost-of-living researcher. With her familiarity of AIRINC’s data collection process, she then moved to the Analysis and Delivery team to facilitate client data projects and production. In her current role as a Senior Client Engagement Manager, she has been serving clients across APAC and is the lead for clients in Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Korea and Greater China. Prior to joining AIRINC, Amber worked at PwC’s China Corporate Tax, providing tax compliance and consulting services to companies in China and Hong Kong.
Graduated from university with Bachelor of Engineering in Material Science, Cyrus got into Global Mobility in 2017 joining a HR consulting firm specialising in providing international mobility data and salary management aid, having moved onto a relocation management company afterwards then joined AIRINC’s APAC team in October 2022 as a Senior Client Engagement Representative. Speaking Cantonese and Mandarin as mother tongues with fluency in English, Cyrus has specialised experiences in Business Development and Client Services across the APAC market over the course of his career with a current focus in AIRINC on working with his clients in the Greater China region to make their mobility reward program successful by delivering the top-notched mobility data services and market-leading solutions.
Becky is responsible for Fragomen’s practice in China, supervising a team handling inbound and outbound visas and work permits.
As the leading professional in the increasingly complex area of China immigration, she is experienced in assisting multinational corporations, financial institutions, and other global employers with employment-based immigration and investor visas.
Becky also advises clients on immigration-related compliance, strategies for the transfer of expatriate workforce into China and throughout the country as well as Chinese companies transfer expatriate workforce to other countries. Becky is a regular speaker on immigration-related topics at seminars and conferences throughout China.

Maggie is responsible for managing the Global Mobility Program & Executive Compensation for Goodyear Asia Pacific region. She also leads the AP benefit programs for Goodyear.
Maggie has over 15 years of HR experiences in HR Business Partnering, Talent Management and Total Rewards. She has been with Goodyear for 17 years. Before joining Goodyear, she had a long career at Honeywell & U.S. Consulate Commercial Service.
Michelle currently leads the Personal Tax Advisory Practice and Equity Incentive Services for KPMG China and has over 18 years of experience in providing global mobility solutions and equity incentive design and implementation solutions to clients in China and overseas as well as serving high net worth individual clients.
Michelle has actively participated in various projects assisting clients with design, implement and roll out of employee compensation structure including equity-based compensation plans. Michelle is also experienced in serving multinational companies and domestic companies on individual’s tax planning advice. Michelle has assisted multinational clients across a broad spectrum of industries on personal income tax compliance and advisory services. In particular, she has experience in Australian, China and United States expatriation taxation, and has served on small, medium and large accounts during her career with KPMG to date.
Over the years, Michelle has undertaken speaking engagements at events held by the American Chamber of Commerce, Australian Chamber of Commerce, Canada Business Council and EU Chamber of Commerce to update their members on the latest regulatory developments and trends in Chinese individual income tax, as well as topics on remuneration packaging; equity-based compensation structuring; and others. Michelle has also delivered lectures to students in the finance discipline of Fudan University on expatriation taxation.
Kevin Zhu is the Director of Deloitte Shanghai. He has over 18 years of professional firm experience as well as industry experience in human resource and tax areas. Kevin was the Asia Pacific Mobility Compensation & Tax Manager of a Fortune 500 automobile company before he joined Deloitte.
Kevin has extensive global workforce consulting experience. He has led large engagements for many multinational companies as well as China domestic companies and has provided wide scope of services covering compensation & benefits, individual income tax & social security as well as global workforce policy and process. He has also provide global workforce training for many large multinational companies.
Kevin has represented Deloitte to make presentation in many global and local forum and workshop. He is also the nominated speaker of Deloitte Dbrief webcast of Asia Pacific.
Kevin is the member of both China Certified HR Specialist and China Certified Tax Agent.
Tiffany has more than 10 years of experience in multiple areas of Human Resources and Global Mobility. In the current role as Senior Global Mobility Consultant, Tiffany partners with internal stakeholders on all international moves into Asia Pacific region. She also leads multiple global projects involving process design and improvement, and looks after the policy evolution of Cargill Global Mobility team cross regions.
