Join us for AmCham Shanghai's 2025 K-12 International Education Fair on October 15, Wednesday. This event will gather education organizations that provide services and programming for students ranging from kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school students.


The fair will be a great opportunity for parents to meet and communicate face-to-face with school administrators and staff from some of Shanghai's top international schools and to learn about the many programs and resources available to students. Attendees will also have the chance to join roundtables where they will be able to learn more about specific education topics including updates on admission policy, campus operations, preparation and choices for K12 schools, university planning advice to students.

    Renee Couturier has been an Eagle Since 2019. She is an experienced educator and leader who has served in schools in Canada, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and China. She has extensive experience leading learning organizations at multiple schools. In addition, she has taught numerous subjects across Elementary, Middle, and High School.

    Renee is currently Head of Educational Programs at Shanghai American School. Her role includes overseeing the PK-12 academic program’s strategic vision and the school’s professional learning program.

    Renee serves on the Professional Learning Advisory Committee for the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS). She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey & a Bachelor's Degree from Université de Moncton.

    Kristi has over 25 years of experience in special education and disabilities. Previously, she served as the Director of Special Education at the Marin County Office of Education for ten years, where she supervised over thirty special education classrooms and collaborated with district superintendents on budget and program needs. Kristi's educational background includes a Master's degree in special education from California State University, and an Administrative Leadership Certificate from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
    Scheduled to present at the October 2025 EARCOS Conference on “Inclusive by Design: One School's Journey to Meet the Needs of Every Learner,” Kristi continues to advocate for inclusive practices and strives to empower students, families, and educators alike.
