Currently, as the Managing Director of Collective Responsibility, Executive Director of HandsOn China, and a Visiting Professor of Sustainability at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), Richard is focused on building platforms that promote long term organizational capacity to address the economic, environmental, and social hurdles that China faces as the country’s economic growth accelerates.
Becky leads the Corporate Affairs function at VF Corporation in APAC, driving all aspects of communications for VF Corporation in APAC. For the last two decades, Becky's primary focus has been to lead comprehensive communications programs that support the company's sustainability strategy, goals, and actions.
Whether it is on mobility solutions or circular design, her work is often about disrupting the CSR model through rigorous dialogue and creative solutions. Becky believes in environmental stewardship and social responsibility, and their inherent connection to business purpose and value. She is currently partnering with NGOs by leveraging VF's sustainability agenda through community projects, education, and dialogue among designers and brands.
Before joining VF, Becky was leading the Corporate Communications function in Shanghai for Adidas, Greater China. Prior to this role, she was Director of Corporate Communications at Ford Motor Company.
Having lived and worked in Toronto, Taipei, Chicago, Washington DC, and Hong Kong, Becky is calling Shanghai home again.
Anders Lennartsson is the Country Sustainability Director of IKEA China. His previous experiences include working as Country Sustainability Manager in IKEA Retail Norway and Global Sustainability Manager in IKEA Food Services. Anders’ responsibility here in China is to lead and enable the implementation of the IKEA sustainability strategy, People and Planet Positive, at IKEA retail including its logistic units.
Motivated by the belief that sustainability goals and actions should be integrated into the business, Anders Lennartsson has worked closely together with business owners to support and push the sustainability agenda for various functions, ranging from commercial, real estate, and logistics.
Anders has worked with his company with three focus areas: healthy and sustainable living, circular and climate, and fair & inclusive. Anders also makes sure that apart from delivering to the global goals in these areas, he also ensures that the company delivers to the expectations of customers, government, and other stakeholders in China.
Eric Zheng became the President of AmCham Shanghai in 2022. He has been involved in the Chamber for over 15 years as a member, committee leader, Board member, Board treasurer, Board secretary, and Board vice chair, and Board chair (2018 and 2019).
Eric brings a unique combination of private and public sector experiences to the presidency. He worked in management consulting with PwC in the U.S. and later served for the U.S. Department of Commerce as the principal commercial officer at the U.S. Consulate in Guangzhou. Eric had a long career with AIG in Greater China and held a series of positions that culminated in his service as CEO of AIG China. He then chaired the board of Heng An Standard Life Insurance Company.
In volunteer roles, Eric serves as the Greater China regional chair of the Committee of 100 and as a board director of Shanghai Make-A-Wish Charity Foundation. The Shanghai municipal government has granted Eric its Magnolia Gold Award in recognition of his significant contributions to the city. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Fudan University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Colleen Altstock arrived in November 2022 to serve as Economic and Political Section Chief at the U.S. Consulate General Shanghai. Prior to her arrival in Shanghai, Colleen has been a Foreign Service Officer since 2002 and served on assignments in Beijing and Shenyang.

董晶2000年取得北京大学医学部药理学学士学位,2004年取得德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校药理和毒理学博士学位。
Jing Dong currently serves as the Director, of Asia Pacific Environment, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S). EH&S and Sustainability include the following expertise services – Business Product Stewardship (Biz PSS), EH&S Auditing, Toxicology Environmental Research & Consulting (TERC), Hazard Communication (Hazcom), Health Services, Product Regulatory Services (PRS), Remediation, Industrial Hygiene Expertise, Operations Regulatory Services, and Sustainability.
Dong has served in various roles at Dow, since she joined Dow in 2005, as the Director of EHS&S, Product Safety Leader for Asia Pacific, Coach for the Product Stewardship organization in Shanghai, Toxicology Consultant for Asia Pacific, Regulatory Toxicologist and Food Chain Specialist for Dow AgroSciences, and a short-term assignment in Brussels’ Government Affairs and Public Policy office. At the end of 2012, Dong returned to Shanghai and assumed the current role of leading a team of experts in providing state-of-art EH&S and Sustainability services and advice to the company in the region.
Dong also served in a Chairperson role for the Responsible Care Committee of the Association of International Manufacturers (AICM), as the Secretariat of the Certification Committee, and as a council member of the Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Toxicology (CST), and a council member of Shanghai Society of Toxicology. She is a certified Toxicologist by the China Society of Toxicology, and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt Project Leader. Dong has over 20 publications and presentations in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences.
Dong obtained her Doctor of Philosophy degree in Pharmacology and Toxicology in 2004, from the University of Texas at Austin in the USA, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology in 2000 from Peking University, Health Science Center in China.
Dong was the immediate-past Chair of the Women Innovation Network (WIN) for the Asia Pacific region in Dow, helping to advance women’s career development.
Ivy Kuo is the partner of ESG Services of PwC China and also serves as the Asia Pacific ESG Virtual Centre of Excellence Lead.
Ivy has over 20 years of experience across both strategy consulting (formerly McKinsey) and multinationals. Her focus is on sustainability, entrepreneurship, customer-centric and digital strategy development, and urbanization. She has worked with private, public, and government organizations across Europe and the Asia Pacific.
Ivy has worked with clients from the NEV, chemical and agrichemical, retail and consumer, energy, agriculture, industrial machinery, and healthcare sectors. She works with clients to build robust strategies and operational capabilities to deliver sustainable and green growth, through the development of vocational education, innovation, customer-centric and digital strategy development, and transformation programs.

Monique Maissan is a Dutch entrepreneur and textile engineer specializing in sustainable solutions for the industry. As CEO and founder of Waste2Wear, she has led a committed team in creating products from recycled plastics since 2007, making them a true pioneer in the industry. The core business is creating yarns and fabrics from recycled plastic bottles (RPET).
Through Monique’s leadership, Waste2Wear won the highly coveted 2021 World Sustainability Award (WSA) for the most sustainable supply chain due to the unique Waste2Wear blockchain. All Waste2Wear suppliers are GRS and BSCI certified making the supply chain sustainable, transparent, and traceable. QR codes on all their products provide details of the environmental savings per each production run and a ‘how it’s made video.
Monique was instrumental in developing the award-winning*, the world's first post-consumer recycled polypropylene products made from discarded domestic appliances such as fridges and washing machines, etc. In 2021 she introduced the award-winning**, the world-first, fully certified testing method to verify RPET content in fabrics, (RA-3) to prove if something is made from recycled plastic bottles and to what percentage. In 2018, she introduced recycled ocean fabrics in collaboration with local NGOs to target highly congested coastal areas to collect post-consumer, pre-ocean plastic to create new ocean yarns, fabrics, garments, and other products.
Monique collaborates with various stakeholders to help create awareness and find solutions to protect the environment. This includes collaborations with the Jane Goodall Institute, National Geographic, and others. Monique is a sought-after speaker at conferences and Universities about circularity and received various awards for her work over the years.
Michael Zhu is the Global VP and Managing Director of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) China, leading HPE’s billion-dollar business and thousands of team members in China, as well as serving as the Shareholder Representative at HPE’s China joint venture (H3C). HPE came from the original HP which entered China in 1985 as the first high-tech MNC, now focusing on accelerating digital transformation for all enterprises with a global edge-to-cloud platform.
Michael has over 20 years of experience leading both global HQ functions and regional business in global high-tech companies. These different experiences established him as a strategic thinker with a strong execution orientation to champion innovation and growth. His global experiences cross multiple functions from global product strategy, OEM and alliance management, JV operations and governance, and corporate venture capital. His regional management experiences include leading China's billion-dollar business turnaround in two Fortune 500 companies.
Michael is culturally well-rounded with broad international experiences including living and working in the US, China, and Japan. Trained in Electrical Engineering and Business Administration, he is a veteran in design-related business. He founded a boutique design and integrated communication company in the 90s before moving to Indonesia a decade later to head and develop a design institution.
Curious about China’s rapid progress, he moved to China to manage an international design and activation firm that serves some of the world’s largest travel retail markets. Later, he held various business management positions in retail-related, manufacturing, and renewal material industries.
Xu Lin is the Senior Director of Community Impact at Nike Greater China. Lin has held various positions with Nike since 2006.
