The afternoon comprises of a series of workshops with practical training and guidance to support professionals in progressing onward and upward. Workshops will be held at 4:00 pm on a range of topics, attendees are encouraged to select one workshop to attend.

WORKSHOPS (16:00 – 17:30)



1. Purposeful Leadership (Limited to 16 people)

This workshop assumes that there is a purpose, or purposes, for each of our lives. It also assumes that we don't spend much time reflecting on that purpose. So we will spend time together, mainly in conversation, clarifying our purpose and how we might use it to more consciously guide our thinking and actions as we lead ourselves, our families, organizations, and societies.



2. Unleash Your Inner Innovator

- Lindsay Prater, Creative and Innovation Facilitator, Unbox Your Brain


During this energetic workshop, we will explore what really makes creativity and innovation flourish. We will discuss where ideas originate and practice ideation techniques to brainstorm better. Come find out how to systematically challenge assumptions to blaze new trails.



3. Career Transformation

- Sandy Wong, Managing Partner, Cornerstone International Group



This 90-minute career coaching workshop will share a proven career transformation framework as well as insights on how women can overcome challenges and limitations throughout their career transformation journey. Through interactive discussions and story sharing, Sandy Wong will facilitate the workshop to examine practical skills that are transferable across functions and industries that women can apply to achieve successful career transformation by mastering the skills of career mobility and adaptability.



4. The Power of Flexible Working

- Mike Paxton, Executive Director, Morgan Philips Talent Consulting


The world of work is experiencing change on an unprecedented level. To succeed in this new normal, it is incumbent upon leaders in business to not only survive and grow but to also proactively seek out new ways of working. One of these is to embrace the power of flexible working, and regard it as a force for good – and in doing so discover the substantial benefits this can bring, to the bottom line and employees alike. In this workshop, we will explore the benefits and risks of flexible working strategies, and how to make a compelling case for change.



5. Women's Health and Wellness

Join us for this workshop during which we will share advice on how to best maintain your health and wellbeing. This session will outline how women can best take care of their health across all stages of life, addressing healthcare needs with a holistic, individualized approach. In addition, we will be exploring the importance of sleep hygiene, self-care, mindfulness, and how the approach to women's health differs in China and the United States, with ample opportunity for interaction during a Q&A session.




6. Declutter and Organize Your Space (Chinese Session)

- Karen Jin, Director, Japan Expert Testing Association


Disorganization often manifests itself in unlikely places, creating a cluttered work environment. Such environments not only negatively affect employees' efficiency and emotional states but can also negatively impact company profits. The goal of this workshop is to help give employees the tools to contribute to a positive and well-organized office space through the 5S methodology. Participants will walk away feeling empowered and ready to create an optimally efficient work environment.
