Join AmCham Shanghai's Tax Committee for China Tax – Highlights from 2018 and Projections for 2019 on Tuesday, December 11th from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the AmCham Shanghai Office.

In 2018, China continued on its path towards a significant transformation of its tax system. In prior years, we have seen significant reform of the corporate tax system and the introduction of VAT. This year, a significant overhaul of the individual income tax system has been introduced. As the end of the 2018 calendar year approaches, this event will not only provide an overview of the significant developments and changes in China tax law that occurred in 2018 but also provide a forecast of what changes can be expected in 2019. Specific topics that will be discussed include the launch of the Golden TAX III system at a national level, the combination of the State tax bureau and the Local tax bureau, and the individual income tax reform. We will discuss how those updates will practically impact individuals and organization operating in China. Grant Thornton Tax Partner David Luo and his team will provide their insights in this sharing session.
